Blotato plans, in the vendor's words
Plan
Price
Included
Starter
$29/mo (flat price, billed monthly)
For “Solo creators getting started”, per the plan card. Up to 20 connected social accounts in total, 1,250 AI credits a month, 400 MB maximum single-file upload, 200 scheduled posts in the queue at a time and 1,000 active contacts a month (DMs and comment replies). Includes the social media API, the MCP server and the official n8n and Make nodes. The card also lists Up to 900 TikTok posts/month, which Blotato’s help docs say not to treat as a monthly allowance. The help docs also set limits that apply on Starter: 3 distinct TikTok accounts per rolling 24 hours (Starter only), 10 posts per YouTube channel per rolling 24 hours (25 on Creator and Agency) and 4 analytics snapshots per post over 30 days.
CreatorPOPULAR
$97/mo (flat price, billed monthly)
Labelled MOST POPULAR on Blotato’s pricing page. Up to 40 connected social accounts, 5,000 AI credits a month, 1 GB maximum upload, 1,000 scheduled posts in the queue and 6,000 active contacts a month, plus faster video processing, an “Unlimited database of viral posts for inspiration” and “Support troubleshooting your n8n/Make automations”, per the Creator card. The help docs add 18 analytics snapshots per post over 30 days (4 on Starter) and 25 posts per YouTube channel per rolling 24 hours (10 on Starter), without Starter’s limit of 3 distinct TikTok accounts per rolling 24 hours. The same API and MCP access as Starter.
Agency
$499/mo (flat price, billed monthly)
Up to 100 connected social accounts (from the vendor’s rate card and billing help page; the Agency card on the pricing page does not print the figure), 28,000 AI credits a month, 1 GB maximum upload, 3,000 scheduled posts in the queue and 15,000 active contacts a month, plus everything on the Creator card, dedicated video processing, a dedicated support channel and dedicated support for troubleshooting automations. The help docs add 20 analytics snapshots per post over 90 days and 25 posts per YouTube channel per rolling 24 hours, without Starter’s limit of 3 distinct TikTok accounts per rolling 24 hours.
More than 100 accounts
Not published; arranged through the in-app support chat
For more than 100 accounts or a custom arrangement, the rate card says the price is unpublished and is arranged through the in-app support chat, not the billing portal.
Extra AI credits
$6.00 per additional pack of 1,000 credits
Credits are spent only on AI image and AI video generation, not on publishing, scheduling, API calls, ElevenLabs voiceovers or the Viral AI Coach. Credits roll over month to month. On cancellation, remaining credits stay usable until the paid month ends, then expire; a refund removes them immediately. Packs are bought in Settings > Billing > AI Credits and Usage, per the billing help page.
7-day free trial (not a free plan)
No charge during the 7 days; card required
On every plan. The card is charged for the chosen plan when the trial ends unless you cancel first. The trial gives 60 AI credits, not the plan’s monthly allowance, and every web-app feature except the API and the MCP server. Generating an API key ends the trial at once and starts the paid subscription; the help center says it activates Starter.

updated
“Blotato is a well-documented, flat-priced way to let an AI agent or an automation publish to the nine networks it supports. Starter, at $29 a month billed monthly, buys up to 20 connected accounts with the same REST API and 35-tool MCP server as the top plan, there is no per-post or per-seat fee, AI credits roll over, and Instagram and Facebook get comments, DMs and keyword-triggered DM automation. The limits are just as clear: there is no free plan and the trial excludes the API, so developers pay before their first API call; the list stops at nine networks, with no ads, Reddit or Google Business Profile; analytics skip LinkedIn; webhooks are outbound only; and we found no security or compliance page. Its own pages also disagree on the scheduling horizon, TikTok volume, TikTok analytics and the platform count, and an undated $1 Starter offer on its billing help page appears on neither the pricing page nor the Current Promo page. On Zernio’s published per-account bands, Blotato Starter costs less from 7 to 20 accounts; if you need ads, more networks or a free tier to build against, compare the alternatives below first.”
Best for
Builders who want an AI agent such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Codex to publish and schedule through one MCP server or REST API
Creators and small agencies posting to up to 20 accounts on the 9 supported networks for a flat $29 a month on monthly billing (Starter)
n8n and Make users who want official nodes rather than raw HTTP requests
Watch out for
No free plan, and the 7-day trial excludes the API and MCP: generating an API key ends the trial and starts the paid subscription, so you cannot test the API without paying
Nine networks, a list Blotato calls exhaustive: no Reddit, Google Business Profile, Mastodon, Telegram or Discord, and no paid-ads endpoints

Blotato sells itself as a social media API for AI agents. Its homepage headline is “Social Media Automation Inside ChatGPT & Claude”, and the line under it promises a “Unified API + MCP to post, schedule, reply to comments, manage DMs, and track analytics across 9+ social platforms - no code required.” In practice that is a REST API at backend.blotato.com/v2 and a hosted MCP server at mcp.blotato.com/mcp, both on every paid plan, next to a web app whose Starter card lists unlimited AI writing, AI image and video generation, AI voices and captions, ElevenLabs AI voiceovers and 58 languages. Blotato’s llms.txt says its primary users are builders running it through an AI agent via API or MCP, and that solopreneurs, creators and small agencies also use the web app.
The company describes itself as Blotato Inc., founded in 2024 by Sabrina Ramonov and based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Its About page lists “$0 funding. $0 budget. $0 ads.” among the founder’s own audience-growth figures (3M+ followers, 33M+ monthly views, 250+ posts a week), and says she previously sold Qurious.io to Pegasystems. The usage figures on its site are the vendor’s own and we have not checked them: 667K+ posts published last month, 1,800 requests per hour, thousands of paying teams, 10,000+ business owners on the platform, and the claim to be the #1 unified social media API + MCP. Blotato says it publishes through each platform’s official API, not browser automation, and handles OAuth token refreshes. It is a hosted service only; the vendor says it is neither open source nor self-hostable.
Publishing and scheduling cover nine networks: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), Threads, Bluesky, Pinterest and YouTube. Blotato’s machine-readable rate card calls that list exhaustive, so the 9+ in the homepage hero, which the same page’s stats row gives as “9 platforms, one API”, is best read as nine; Reddit, Google Business Profile, Mastodon, Telegram and Discord are not on it. The help docs list the formats: LinkedIn personal profiles and company pages; X, Threads and Bluesky posts including threads; YouTube long videos and Shorts; Instagram posts, carousels, Stories and Reels; Facebook Page posts, Reels and Stories; Pinterest pins and videos; and TikTok videos and slideshows.
Publishing is asynchronous. POST /posts returns a postSubmissionId, which you poll until the post is published or fails; the docs page captured above walks an agent through listing accounts, creating a post and checking its status. Analytics cover eight networks, all but LinkedIn, which “returns no metrics yet”, and only posts published through Blotato. They are snapshots collected at checkpoints, not fetched live: 4 per post over 30 days on Starter (days 1, 7, 14 and 30), 18 over 30 days on Creator and 20 over 90 days on Agency. The MCP tool for top posts filters on a narrower set: X, Instagram, Facebook, Threads and Bluesky.
Engagement covers Meta’s networks only. Comments (read, post and reply), conversations and DMs, and DM automation work on Instagram and Facebook, and Meta’s windows apply: one private reply per comment within 7 days, and DM replies within 24 hours of the person’s last message. The vendor says keyword-triggered DM automation, for auto-replies and lead magnets, shipped on August 6, 2026 with 9 REST endpoints and 8 MCP tools; it is reply-only. Each person you DM or reply to counts as an active contact, unique per connected account and reset monthly, against a cap of 1,000, 6,000 or 15,000 a month by plan.
A developer will notice the gaps. We found no paid-ads endpoints in the API reference. Blotato’s own MCP page sums up its rivals this way: “Zernio covers more surface than we do and is the better pick if ads are part of the job”, Outstand is cheaper at low volume, and Postiz reaches more platforms and is free if you self-host; Blotato’s own case, it says, is a bill that does not meter each post, more connected accounts at the same entry price and publishing through official platform APIs. Webhooks are outbound only: a publishing target that sends post content to a URL you choose (REST only, not in MCP) and a webhook action inside DM automations with a 15-second timeout and no retry. There are no account-wide event subscriptions.
Blotato sells three plans at flat monthly prices in US dollars: Starter $29, Creator $97 (labelled MOST POPULAR) and Agency $499 a month. The price covers the whole Blotato account, with no per-seat, per-post or per-API-call charge, and all three plans include the same API endpoints and MCP tools, with no API tier or add-on. What changes is the limits: connected social accounts (20, 40 or 100 in total across all platforms), AI credits a month (1,250, 5,000 or 28,000), the largest single upload (400 MB, 1 GB or 1 GB), scheduled posts in the queue at any one time (200, 1,000 or 3,000) and active contacts a month (1,000, 6,000 or 15,000). The Creator card adds faster video processing, an “Unlimited database of viral posts for inspiration” and “Support troubleshooting your n8n/Make automations”; the Agency card adds dedicated video processing, a dedicated support channel and dedicated support for troubleshooting automations. The help docs tie more to the plan: analytics snapshots per post (4 over 30 days on Starter, 18 over 30 days on Creator, 20 over 90 days on Agency), posts per YouTube channel per rolling 24 hours (10 on Starter, 25 on Creator and Agency) and a limit of 3 distinct TikTok accounts per rolling 24 hours that applies on Starter only. The Agency card does not print its 100-account limit, which comes from the rate card and the billing help page. Above 100 accounts the price is unpublished and arranged through the in-app support chat.
The pricing page sells monthly billing only and has no billing toggle. Its FAQ says yearly billing saves about 17%, “you pay for 10 months and get 12”, and is switched on with Update subscription in the Billing Portal; Blotato publishes no yearly dollar price, so we quote none. Upgrades are prorated immediately and downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. On refunds, the pricing FAQ says that if something genuinely does not work you can email support@blotato.com within 14 days “and we’ll make it right”.
AI credits pay only for AI image and AI video generation; publishing, scheduling, API calls, ElevenLabs voiceovers and the Viral AI Coach do not use them. Credits roll over month to month; on cancellation the remaining credits stay usable until the paid month ends, then expire, and a refund removes them immediately. Extra packs cost $6.00 per 1,000 credits. Connected accounts are counted per destination: each Facebook Page and each LinkedIn company Page counts separately from the profile it belongs to, while the Facebook login itself does not count.
There is no free plan. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial; a card is required, nothing is charged during the trial, and the card is charged for the chosen plan when it ends unless you cancel. The trial gives 60 AI credits rather than the plan’s monthly allowance, and every web-app feature except the API and the MCP server. Generating an API key ends the trial on the spot and starts the paid subscription (the help center says it activates Starter), and the official n8n and Make nodes need an API key too, so anyone who wants to build on the API should plan to pay from the first day.
Worked examples from the published prices, all on monthly billing. Twelve months cost $348 on Starter, $1,164 on Creator and $5,988 on Agency. Used to its account limit, Starter works out at $1.45 per connected account a month ($29 ÷ 20), Creator at about $2.43 ($97 ÷ 40) and Agency at $4.99 ($499 ÷ 100), so per account the higher plans cost more; what they add is credits, queue space, contacts, larger uploads (1 GB against 400 MB), faster or dedicated video processing, support for automations and an unlimited viral-post database, plus, per the help docs, more analytics snapshots per post (18 or 20 against 4), 25 posts per YouTube channel per rolling 24 hours instead of 10, and no limit of 3 distinct TikTok accounts per rolling 24 hours. A small agency with 6 clients, each connecting a Facebook Page, an Instagram account and an X account, uses 18 accounts and fits Starter at $29 a month; a seventh client makes 21 and moves it to Creator at $97. A product that keeps more than 200 posts scheduled at once needs Creator whatever its account count, and a 1,000-credit top-up adds $6.00.
Posting caps, warm-up and pages that disagree
The homepage promises “Flat pricing, unlimited posts, 20 accounts to start”, and unlimited means no per-post charge, not no limit. The rate card says Blotato enforces its own posting caps, stricter than the platforms’ own, though llms.txt limits that to Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube and says TikTok’s own cap binds first on TikTok; the help center lists them per 24 hours: 50 posts per Instagram account, 25 per Facebook Page, 50 per LinkedIn profile and 50 per LinkedIn company Page, 10 per YouTube channel on Starter or 25 on Creator and Agency, and 10, 20 or 50 on Pinterest depending on the account’s monthly views. llms.txt says Blotato sets no cap of its own on X, Threads or Bluesky. Brand-new accounts must be warmed up by hand before you connect them: four weeks on TikTok, two to three weeks and 100+ monthly views on Pinterest, and one to two weeks on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky and X.
The API has its own limits per route, per minute: 30 requests to create a post, 60 each to list posts and get post status, 60 for post analytics, 30 to upload media from a URL, 120 for presigned upload URLs, 45 to list Pinterest boards, 60 to list or get comments, 30 to post a comment, 60 for conversation and message reads, 30 to send a message, and 60 reads and 30 writes for DM automations. The homepage’s 1,800 requests per hour is the vendor’s figure; by our arithmetic it equals the create-post limit of 30 a minute over an hour.
Several Blotato pages disagree, so check the one that matters to you. The rate card gives a scheduling horizon of 9 months on Starter, 1 year on Creator and 2 years on Agency, while the billing help page says 9 months on every plan. The Starter card lists Up to 900 TikTok posts/month, but the TikTok help page says “Do not treat 900 as a monthly counter or guaranteed allowance”: the checks run per rolling 24 hours, Starter can post to 3 distinct TikTok accounts in that window and Blotato’s validator sets 25 posts per TikTok account in that window on every plan (though its llms.txt says TikTok’s own cap, typically around 15 posts per creator a day, binds first), the Starter error message still says 10 per account, and the vendor says the intended limit is under review. The homepage does not agree with itself on the platform count: its hero says 9+ social platforms and a paragraph further down says 9+ networks, while its stats row says “9 platforms, one API”, its footer says 9 platforms and the rate card calls its nine exhaustive. llms.txt counts 18 documented AI clients where the AI Info page says 20. Blotato’s MCP page lists analytics on eight platforms, everything except LinkedIn, then says “If you need analytics on TikTok or DMs on LinkedIn today, this is not the tool for that job yet”, while the API docs list TikTok among the eight analytics platforms.
Agents, n8n, Make and the docs
The hosted MCP server at mcp.blotato.com/mcp uses Streamable HTTP and accepts OAuth or the same blotato-api-key header as the REST API. Its reference page lists 35 tools for accounts, credits, publishing, analytics, comments, messages, DM automations, content extraction, visuals, the content calendar and media upload. Blotato documents setup for Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Cowork, Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, Replit Agent, GitHub Copilot and others. It says it was listed as an official plugin in the ChatGPT Plugins directory on November 4, 2026, and adds that publishing through it on ChatGPT Plus or Pro is not confirmed.
For no-code automation there are official n8n and Make.com nodes from Starter, although the Make module has no analytics yet. There is no official Zapier app; Zapier users call the REST API through Webhooks by Zapier. The homepage shows a REST / SDK chip, but the docs index, the API reference and llms.txt list only REST, an OpenAPI file, MCP and the n8n and Make nodes, so we treat an official SDK as unconfirmed.
The documentation is written for agents to read. There is a public OpenAPI file (backend.blotato.com/openapi.json loaded when we checked on November 6, 2026), llms.txt and llms-full.txt, a Markdown copy of every docs page by adding .md to its address, a single-document API reference for agents and a documentation MCP endpoint that needs no API key. The vendor notes that account usage and schedule-slot management are documented separately and missing from the OpenAPI export. When we read them, llms.txt was dated November 5, 2026 and the rate card was effective as of September 10, 2026.
Security, company and reviews
We found no security, trust, SOC 2 or GDPR/DPA page in Blotato’s sitemap (362 URLs) or its help-docs index on November 6, 2026. The privacy policy, last updated May 18, 2026, says only that Blotato takes “reasonable administrative and electronic measures to safeguard your Personal Information”, and the help center says card details are held by Stripe, its payment processor. The privacy policy gives the address as 50 W Broadway Ste 333, PMB 617067, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101, and the terms are governed by Utah law. If your product needs a signed DPA or an audit report, ask before you build.
On Trustpilot, Blotato scored 4.8 from 384 reviews when we read the page on November 6, 2026. Trustpilot marks the profile as claimed (April 2026) with a paid Trustpilot subscription, and notes: “This company hasn’t invited customers recently, so reviews may not be representative”. G2 refused our requests (HTTP 403), so the 4.6/5 on G2 badge on Blotato’s pricing page is the vendor’s claim and we show no G2 score. No discount code is active: the vendor’s Current Promo page says so, and its BIRTHDAY2026 promotion expired on September 1, 2026. The billing help page also describes a “$1 offer” that “applies only to the Starter plan”, without dates; neither the pricing page nor the Current Promo page shows it, so we could not confirm whether it is live.
Who Blotato fits, and who should look elsewhere
Blotato fits builders and small teams who want an AI agent, or an n8n or Make workflow, to publish to the nine networks it supports, and who prefer one flat bill to a meter: $29 a month on monthly billing (Starter) covers up to 20 connected accounts with the full API and MCP server, AI credits that roll over and no charge per post. It also suits creators and small agencies posting organically to those networks, and Instagram or Facebook accounts that want comment replies and keyword-triggered DM replies handled by an agent.
Look elsewhere if you need paid ads, Reddit, Google Business Profile or other networks outside the nine, LinkedIn analytics, event webhooks or an official SDK, or a free tier to build against before paying. Very small products may pay less elsewhere: Buffer’s Free plan connects up to 3 channels with 1 API key (1,000 API requests per connected channel, up to 3,000, over a 30-day window in its pricing page’s comparison table and its API docs, “per channel/month” on its plan cards); Upload-Post’s Free plan gives 10 uploads a month on 2 profiles with API access, and its Basic plan is $24 a month billed monthly for 5 profiles; and on Zernio’s published bands up to 6 connected accounts cost $24 a month or less, with X API calls billed on top at X’s rate and a card needed before the third account or the first X account. Blotato Starter is $29 a month on monthly billing. Teams that need compliance paperwork should ask Blotato first, since we found no security page, and high-volume posters should check the per-24-hour caps and the Starter TikTok limit before committing.
Strengths
Flat monthly prices with no per-post, per-seat or per-API-call fees: Starter is $29 a month, billed monthly, for up to 20 connected social accounts
The same REST API endpoints and MCP tools on every paid plan, with no separate API tier or add-on
One integration publishes and schedules to Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Threads, Bluesky, Pinterest and YouTube, including threads, carousels, Stories, Reels, Shorts and TikTok slideshows
Hosted MCP server with 35 tools, OAuth or API-key sign-in, and setup guides for Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI and other clients
Documentation written for agents: a public OpenAPI file, llms.txt, a Markdown copy of every docs page and a documentation MCP endpoint that needs no API key
Instagram and Facebook comments, DMs and keyword-triggered DM automation through the API and MCP
AI credits roll over month to month (on cancellation they last until the paid month ends; a refund removes them) and are spent only on AI images and videos, never on posting or API calls
Plan caps, posting caps per 24 hours and per-route API rate limits are published in the docs
Comments, DMs and DM automation cover Instagram and Facebook only, and analytics return no LinkedIn metrics
Webhooks are outbound only, with no account-wide event subscriptions, and no official SDK package is documented
Blotato’s own caps per 24 hours (for example 25 posts per Facebook Page, 10 per YouTube channel on Starter, 3 distinct TikTok accounts on Starter) and a manual warm-up of new accounts before connecting them, four weeks on TikTok
Its pages disagree on the scheduling horizon (9 months, 1 year or 2 years by plan, or 9 months on every plan), on the Up to 900 TikTok posts/month line, on the platform count (9+ in the homepage hero, 9 in its stats row and an exhaustive 9 on the rate card), on 18 against 20 documented AI clients and on whether analytics cover TikTok; the billing help page also describes an undated $1 Starter offer that neither the pricing page nor the Current Promo page shows
We found no security, SOC 2 or GDPR/DPA page; the privacy policy gives only a general safeguards statement
Yearly billing is only in the Billing Portal and has no published dollar price
Key features
Feature
What it does
REST API (v2)
Base URL https://backend.blotato.com/v2 with a blotato-api-key header. Publishing is asynchronous: POST /posts returns a postSubmissionId that you poll for the result. Rate limits are set per route, per minute: 30 to create a post, 60 each to list posts and read post status, 60 for post analytics.
Hosted MCP server
https://mcp.blotato.com/mcp over Streamable HTTP, signed in with OAuth or the same API-key header. 35 tools for accounts, credits, publishing, analytics, comments, messages, DM automations, content extraction, visuals, the content calendar and media upload. Included on every paid plan, not in the trial.
Publishing to 9 networks
Instagram posts, carousels, Stories and Reels; TikTok videos and slideshows; LinkedIn personal and company pages; Facebook Page posts, Reels and Stories; X, Threads and Bluesky posts including threads; Pinterest pins and videos; YouTube long videos and Shorts. Post now or schedule; the queue holds 200, 1,000 or 3,000 scheduled posts at a time by plan.
Analytics
Eight networks per the API docs and rate card (X, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Bluesky, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest), for posts published through Blotato; LinkedIn returns no metrics yet, and Blotato’s MCP page says it is not the tool for TikTok analytics yet. Snapshots are collected at checkpoints, not fetched live: 4 per post over 30 days on Starter, 18 over 30 days on Creator and 20 over 90 days on Agency.
Comments, DMs and DM automation
Instagram and Facebook only. Read, post and reply to comments, read and send messages, and run keyword-triggered DM automations (auto-replies and lead magnets; the vendor says they shipped on August 6, 2026, with 9 REST endpoints and 8 MCP tools). Reply-only, inside Meta’s windows, and counted against active contacts a month: 1,000, 6,000 or 15,000 by plan.
Outbound webhooks
A webhook publishing target that sends post content to your URL (REST only, not in MCP), and a webhook action inside DM automations with a 15-second timeout and no retry. No account-wide event subscriptions.
n8n and Make nodes
Official n8n and Make.com nodes from Starter; the Make module has no analytics yet. There is no official Zapier app, so Zapier users call the REST API through Webhooks by Zapier. Both nodes need an API key, which ends a trial.
AI content tools
The web app’s Starter card lists unlimited AI writing, AI image and video generation, AI voices and captions, ElevenLabs AI voiceovers, proven viral templates and 58 languages. Only AI images and videos spend credits (1,250, 5,000 or 28,000 a month by plan; $6.00 per extra 1,000).
Docs for agents
A public OpenAPI file at backend.blotato.com/openapi.json, llms.txt and llms-full.txt, a Markdown copy of every docs page (add .md to the address), a single-document API reference for agents and a documentation MCP endpoint that needs no API key. The vendor notes that account usage and schedule-slot management are missing from the OpenAPI export.
Bills per social profile (one customer, brand or location, whatever networks it connects). Its cheapest plan, Premium, is $149 a month billed monthly ($129 billed annually) for 1 social profile with up to 14 social accounts across 14 networks, charged at signup with no free trial; the 28-day free trial comes with Launch, $299 a month billed monthly ($249 billed annually). Blotato Starter is $29 a month, billed monthly, for up to 20 connected accounts on 9 networks.
Its Free plan connects up to 3 channels and includes 1 API key. Buffer counts API requests per connected channel, 1,000 up to 3,000 on Free, over a 30-day window in its pricing page’s comparison table and its API docs (“per channel/month” on its plan cards). Essentials is $6 per channel a month billed monthly ($5 billed yearly) for channels 1 to 10 and $4 for channels 11 to 25, so 20 channels cost $100 a month on monthly billing by our arithmetic, against $29 a month, billed monthly, for up to 20 accounts on Blotato Starter, which has no free plan.
Standard is $29 a month on monthly billing ($278 a year on yearly billing) for 5 channels with unlimited posts, and every plan includes the public API, CLI and MCP server; its 7-day free trial needs a payment method. Postiz says it reaches 30+ channels. Blotato Starter costs the same $29 a month on monthly billing and connects up to 20 accounts, on 9 networks. Blotato’s own MCP page says to pick Postiz if you want the widest platform list, including Mastodon, Discord and Reddit, or would rather self-host and run it for free.
Its Free plan connects 3 social accounts (not X) with 10 scheduled posts per account at a time, and Access to Publer API & MCP is listed on Business, $10.00 a month billed monthly or $8.00 billed yearly with the pricing calculator set to 1 social account; its help center says the API is for Business and Enterprise users. Blotato includes the API and MCP on every plan but has no free plan.
Keeps a free plan of 10 uploads a month and 2 profiles with full API access and no credit card, without TikTok. Basic is $24 a month billed monthly ($16 billed yearly) for 5 profiles with unlimited uploads, where a profile holds one account on each of its 22 networks, and every plan includes the REST API, Python and JavaScript SDKs and an MCP server. Blotato has no free plan, and its trial leaves out the API.
Bills per connected account instead of a flat plan: the first 2 accounts are free with no credit card (Zernio’s docs add that a card is needed before the third account or the first X account), then $6 per account a month for accounts 3 to 10, $3 for 11 to 100 and $1 from 101, graduated, with X API calls passed through at X’s published rate. On those bands 6 accounts cost $24 a month and 20 cost $78 a month before X charges, against Blotato Starter’s flat $29 a month, billed monthly, for up to 20. Blotato’s own MCP page says to pick Zernio if you need paid ads or the long tail of networks and run few enough accounts that per-account pricing beats a flat fee.
No. The pricing FAQ says there is no free plan, but every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. A card is required, nothing is charged during the trial, and the card is charged for the plan you picked when it ends unless you cancel first. The trial includes every web-app feature and 60 AI credits, but not the API or the MCP server.
How much does Blotato cost?
Starter is $29 a month, Creator $97 and Agency $499, billed monthly in USD at a flat price per plan, with no per-post, per-seat or per-API-call fees. They allow 20, 40 and 100 connected social accounts. The vendor says yearly billing, switched on in the Billing Portal, saves about 17% (pay for 10 months and get 12), but it publishes no yearly dollar price. Extra AI credits cost $6.00 per 1,000, and more than 100 accounts is priced on request through the in-app support chat. On monthly billing, twelve months of Starter cost $348.
Can I try the API or MCP server before paying?
Not during the trial. The trial excludes the API and the MCP server, and generating an API key ends the trial immediately and starts the paid subscription; the help center says it activates Starter, and the pricing FAQ says it starts your paid plan. The official n8n and Make nodes need an API key as well. On refunds, the pricing FAQ says that if something genuinely does not work you can email support@blotato.com within 14 days “and we’ll make it right”.
Which social networks does Blotato support?
Publishing and scheduling cover nine: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), Threads, Bluesky, Pinterest and YouTube. The rate card calls the list exhaustive, although the homepage hero says 9+ (its stats row says “9 platforms, one API”). Analytics cover eight of them, per the API docs and rate card, and return no LinkedIn metrics yet (Blotato’s MCP page, though, says it is not the tool for TikTok analytics yet); comments, messages and DM automation cover Instagram and Facebook only. There are no ad networks and no Reddit, Google Business Profile, Mastodon, Telegram or Discord.
What counts as a connected account?
Every connected destination, totalled across all platforms: Starter allows 20, Creator 40 and Agency 100. Each Facebook Page and each LinkedIn company Page counts separately from the profile it belongs to, while the Facebook login itself does not count. Six clients that each connect a Facebook Page, an Instagram account and an X account make 18 accounts, which fits Starter; a seventh client needs Creator.
Is posting really unlimited?
There is no per-post fee, but there are limits. The queue holds 200, 1,000 or 3,000 scheduled posts at a time by plan, and Blotato enforces its own caps per 24 hours, such as 50 posts per Instagram account, 25 per Facebook Page and 10 per YouTube channel on Starter (25 on Creator and Agency). On TikTok the help docs say not to treat the pricing page’s 900 posts a month as an allowance: Starter can post to 3 distinct TikTok accounts per rolling 24 hours; Blotato’s validator sets 25 posts per TikTok account per rolling 24 hours on every plan, though its llms.txt says TikTok’s own cap, typically around 15 posts per creator a day, binds first; and the vendor says the intended limit is under review. New accounts must be warmed up by hand before connecting, four weeks on TikTok.
How do AI credits work?
Credits are spent only on AI image and AI video generation. Publishing, scheduling, API calls, ElevenLabs voiceovers and the Viral AI Coach do not use them. Starter includes 1,250 a month, Creator 5,000 and Agency 28,000, and the trial gives 60. Credits roll over month to month. On cancellation, remaining credits stay usable until the paid month ends, then expire, and a refund removes them immediately. Extra packs are $6.00 per 1,000 credits.
Does Blotato work with Claude, ChatGPT and other AI agents?
Yes, through the hosted MCP server at mcp.blotato.com/mcp, which signs in with OAuth or an API key and exposes 35 tools. Blotato documents setup for Claude Code, Claude Desktop and Cowork, Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, Replit Agent, GitHub Copilot and others; its llms.txt counts 18 documented clients and its AI Info page says 20. The vendor says it was listed as an official plugin in the ChatGPT Plugins directory on November 4, 2026, and that publishing through it on Plus or Pro is not confirmed.
Does Blotato have webhooks, an SDK or a Zapier app?
Webhooks are outbound only: a publishing target that sends post content to your URL (REST only) and a webhook action in DM automations, with no account-wide event subscriptions. No official SDK package is documented: the homepage shows a REST / SDK label, but the docs list only REST, an OpenAPI file, MCP and the n8n and Make nodes. There is no official Zapier app; Zapier users call the REST API through Webhooks by Zapier.
Is Blotato secure and compliant?
We found no security, trust, SOC 2 or GDPR/DPA page in Blotato’s sitemap or help-docs index on November 6, 2026. The privacy policy, last updated May 18, 2026, says Blotato takes “reasonable administrative and electronic measures to safeguard your Personal Information”, and the help center says card details are held by Stripe. Blotato says it publishes only through official platform APIs, and that it is a hosted service, not open source and not self-hostable. Ask the vendor directly if you need a DPA or audit report.
Is there a Blotato discount?
No discount code is active: the vendor’s Current Promo page says there is no active discount code right now, and its BIRTHDAY2026 promotion expired on September 1, 2026. The billing help page also describes a “$1 offer” that “applies only to the Starter plan”, without dates; neither the pricing page nor the Current Promo page shows it, so we could not confirm whether it is live. Yearly billing, switched on in the Billing Portal, saves about 17% by the vendor’s account, and upgrades are prorated immediately while downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

Every plan has a 7-day free trial with a card, which excludes the API and MCP; yearly billing, switched on in the Billing Portal, saves about 17% (pay for 10 months, get 12). No discount code is active (the vendor’s Current Promo page, read November 6, 2026); its billing help page still describes an undated $1 offer on Starter that neither the Current Promo page nor the pricing page shows, so we could not confirm it is live.
