Upload-Post plans, in the vendor's words

PlanPriceIncluded
Free$0A lasting free plan, not a trial, with no credit card. 10 uploads a month, 2 profiles, 1 seat and API access; the plan card also lists scheduling and analytics. Covers the listed networks except TikTok. Monthly quotas: 30 FFmpeg video-editor minutes and 10 AI Shorts analyses. Monthly quotas: 300 FFmpeg minutes and 100 AI Shorts analyses. Extra profiles: +5 for $15/mo or +10 for $25/mo on monthly billing (+$120 or +$200 a year on annual billing).
ProfessionalPOPULAR$33/mo billed annually, $400 a year ($50 billed monthly)The vendor’s plan card labels it “Most popular”. 25 profiles, 2 seats, white-label, unlimited uploads within the per-account daily caps. Monthly quotas: 1,000 FFmpeg minutes and 300 AI Shorts analyses. Extra profiles: +15 for $35/mo or +25 for $55/mo on monthly billing (+$280 or +$440 a year on annual billing).
Advanced$118/mo billed annually, $1,411 a year ($147 billed monthly)75 profiles, 5 seats, white-label and priority support. Monthly quotas: 3,000 FFmpeg minutes and 600 AI Shorts analyses. Extra profiles: +25 for $65/mo or +50 for $115/mo on monthly billing (+$650 or +$1,150 a year on annual billing).
Business$350/mo billed annually, $4,205 a year ($438 billed monthly)225 profiles, 10 seats, white-label and priority support. Monthly quotas: 10,000 FFmpeg minutes and 1,000 AI Shorts analyses. Extra profiles cost +$1 a month each. The docs FAQ describes Business as “For enterprise with usage-based billing”, while the pricing page shows a flat price plus +$1 a month per extra profile and names no other usage charge; ask what is metered before you buy.
Post links on X (add-on)$19/mo flat per subscription on monthly billing ($152/yr on annual billing, per the docs)Added on top of any paid plan. Keeps links in X posts, up to 50 link posts a month, shared across all your X profiles rather than per profile. Without it, URLs are stripped from X posts by default. The pricing page labels it “+$19/mo (billed monthly)” even in its annual view, while the docs’ X Links guide says the add-on bills on the same interval as the base plan, so annual plans pay $152 a year.

How these numbers are verified

  1. We open Upload-Post's own pricing page, upload-post.com/pricing, and record prices, plan names and the free plan as written, with the date.
  2. A vendor's correction or a reader's report changes nothing until an editor has checked it.
  3. Scores and rankings are editorial: vendors cannot buy them or correct them.
  4. After 30 days without a new reading, this page stops calling the facts verified (the page is rebuilt daily).

Editor's verdict

updated

“Upload-Post is a broad social media API with a real free plan. It lists 22 networks, adds scheduling, analytics, a comments API, Instagram DMs, signed webhooks and white-label onboarding, and ships SDKs, a CLI and an MIT-licensed MCP server for agents. Its prices are flat per plan and count profiles rather than accounts, so Basic covers 5 profiles, each with one account per network, for $24 a month billed monthly ($16 billed annually), and the Free plan includes the API with 10 uploads a month. The catches are on its own pages: Reddit is listed but unavailable according to the docs, no plan reaches the -40% annual badge, the advertised 15-day money-back guarantee is not in its Terms of Use, unlimited uploads run into daily caps per account, the homepage’s claim to store no personal data contradicts its DPA, and we could read no independent rating. Start on the Free plan, check the networks and limits you need in the docs rather than the marketing pages, and compare per-account pricing if you manage only a few accounts.”

Best for

  • Developers and SaaS products that want to publish to many networks from one API call
  • AI agent builders who want an MCP server, SDKs and agent-framework guides
  • Products and agencies posting for many clients, with white-label onboarding from Professional

Watch out for

  • Vendor pages conflict on Reddit: the pricing and platform pages list it, while the docs say Reddit posting is currently unavailable (HTTP 503)
  • The Annual toggle shows a -40% badge, but no plan reaches 40%: the yearly totals save about 33% on Basic and Professional and about 20% on Advanced and Business, as the docs’ “up to 33%” says

Upload-Post homepage hero: the headline “Social Media API One Call, Every Platform”, a counter reading Join +108,645 creators already growing with us!, two rows of network icons and the line “Social Media Posting API for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube & 19 more platforms. One API call, all networks. Free tier, Python & JS SDKs. Use it as a tool for Claude, ChatGPT or any AI agent.” Five bullets cover one API call to post on all platforms, scheduling, an analytics and metrics API, a whitelabel API and content that auto-adapts to each platform. On the right, a terminal shows a curl request with an Apikey authorization header that posts video.mp4 with a title and the user test to tiktok, instagram and youtube at api.upload-post.com/api/upload, above a Compatible with any AI agent button and n8n, Make, Zapier and Airtable badges. What Upload-Post is

Upload-Post is a social media API. Its homepage headline is “Social Media API One Call, Every Platform”, and the vendor describes a unified API that posts to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and 19 other platforms with a single call, with a REST API, Python and Node.js SDKs and scheduling. It is aimed at developers, at SaaS products that want to add posting for their own users, and at AI agents: the homepage says you can use it as a tool for Claude, ChatGPT or any AI agent, and it runs an MCP server.

The operating company is TONVI TECH SL, which trades as Upload-Post and is registered in Málaga, Spain. Its llms.txt says Upload-Post was founded in January 2025 by Víctor Cavero, while its Legal Notice carries an effective date of April 27, 2024, earlier than that; we report both dates rather than choose. The vendor says it has more than 100,000 registered users, and the homepage counter read +108,645 creators when we captured it; both are the vendor’s own figures. The Legal Notice says Upload-Post is an independent third party, not affiliated with TikTok, Meta, Google/YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, Reddit or Bluesky.

Networks: 22 on the list, with caveats

The homepage FAQ lists 22 platforms: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Pinterest, Reddit, Bluesky, Google Business, Discord, Telegram, Slack, Mastodon, Nostr, Lemmy, Dev.to, Hashnode, WordPress, Whop and Listmonk, and the Platforms page shows the same 22. Not every endpoint reaches all of them. In the API reference, video goes to 14 networks, photos to 14 and text to 17, and scheduling lists 11: X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Bluesky, Threads, Pinterest, YouTube, Discord and Telegram. Slack, Nostr, Dev.to, Hashnode, Whop and Listmonk appear only under text, and Lemmy under photos and text.

Reddit is the clearest conflict between the vendor’s pages. The pricing page says the Free plan covers Reddit, and the Reddit platform page says “Currently the Reddit integration supports image posts, text posts (markdown) and link posts.” The API overview says the opposite: Reddit posting is currently unavailable and returns HTTP 503 with the error code reddit_unavailable, and the comments API and the MCP guide say the same. Plan as if Reddit is unavailable until the pages agree.

Two more caveats. The Free plan leaves out TikTok, which starts on Basic, and the Connect API’s OAuth start endpoint also accepts snapchat, and twitch as read-only, neither of which is among the 22. For TikTok, the vendor recommends uploading in Draft mode (post_mode=MEDIA_UPLOAD) rather than posting directly, saying that publishing natively from the TikTok app tends to earn more organic reach.

What the API covers

Upload-Post documentation landing page with the headline “Ship social media features in minutes, not months.” and the line “A single API to orchestrate media uploads, transcoding, and publishing across 22 social networks. Built for developers scaling their digital presence.” Buttons read Start building for free, Read the Docs and LLM Context. On the right, a publish.ts code window imports UploadPost from upload-post, creates an uploader with an API key and uploads /path/to/video.mp4 with a title, a user and the platforms tiktok and instagram. The top bar links Documentation, App, OpenAPI, llm.txt and GitHub, a Supported networks row of icons sits below the buttons, and the figures 10/mo Free Uploads, 22 Networks and 100% Async Processing are cut off at the bottom edge
Screenshot of docs.upload-post.com, taken .

The core is a set of upload endpoints for video, photos, text and documents (documents go to LinkedIn), each taking a profile and a list of platforms, so one call can publish the same item to several networks. Around them sit a posting queue and endpoints to edit, unpublish, repost and retry posts, check upload history and status, and set YouTube thumbnails. Posts can be scheduled at most 365 days ahead, and the number of posts waiting to publish is capped per account by plan, from 5,000 on Free to 50,000 on Business.

The Analytics API page lists Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Reddit, Bluesky and Google Business, while the API reference lists only the first nine, and for Reddit the docs say an already-connected account may return data or reddit_unavailable; LinkedIn analytics work only for company pages you administer, and Discord, Telegram and the credential-based channels have none. A comments API lists and creates comments on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn company-page posts, TikTok (after reconnecting the account), X (through mentions), Threads and Bluesky, with hide, like and pin support varying by network. The docs disagree on deleting: the Comments page’s platform table marks delete for X and Bluesky (not Threads), but its Delete Comment endpoint accepts only Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok, as does the docs FAQ. The DM endpoints are documented on an Instagram page with Instagram examples, and AutoDM monitors send a private DM on Instagram or a public reply on TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Threads and Bluesky.

Webhooks report upload_completed, social_account_connected, social_account_disconnected and social_account_reauth_required, plus opt-in dm_received (Instagram) and comment_received (Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn company pages, with Threads rolling out); payloads are signed with HMAC-SHA256 and can be set per account or per profile. From Professional, white-label onboarding lets your own users connect their accounts through JWT connect URLs that expire after 48 hours, and a Connect API lets you build your own connect page.

Every plan includes a monthly quota of FFmpeg video-editor minutes and of AI Shorts analyses. The AI Shorts API takes a short-form video and returns AI-written titles, descriptions, captions and hashtags per platform, and the docs also cover audience insights and hashtag and keyword suggestions. The only ads integration is ChatGPT Ads: you connect your own OpenAI Ads account, create campaigns, ad groups and ads, which are created paused unless you send status: active, and read impressions, clicks and spend, with ad spend billed to you by OpenAI.

Plans and what you pay

Upload-Post pricing section headed Predictable pricing, with the Annual toggle selected and a -40% badge, above No credit card required and 15-day money-back guarantee. Five plan cards: Free $0/mo with 10 uploads/mo and 2 profiles; Basic $16/mo, $192 billed annually, 5 profiles and 1 seat (Owner only); Professional $33/mo, $400 billed annually, with a Most popular label, Whitelabel integration, 25 profiles and 2 seats; Advanced $118/mo, $1,411 billed annually, with Priority support, 75 profiles and 5 seats; Business $350/mo, $4,205 billed annually, 225 profiles, 10 seats and Extra profiles +$1/mo each. Each card lists its networks, Schedule posts, Analytics, Video editor API (FFmpeg) minutes and AI Shorts Uploader analyses, and the Basic, Professional and Advanced cards list yearly extra-profile packs and Post links on X / Twitter at +$19/mo billed monthly. The monthly prices are not shown in this state
Screenshot of upload-post.com/pricing, taken .

Upload-Post charges one flat price per plan and sizes plans by profiles. A profile is one person or client, not one social account: it connects one account on each network, so 5 profiles can hold 5 TikTok, 5 Instagram and 5 YouTube accounts. The vendor says there is no per-user, per-channel or per-post fee, but seats are capped: 1 on Free and Basic, 2 on Professional, 5 on Advanced and 10 on Business. On monthly billing Basic costs $24 a month for 5 profiles, Professional $50 for 25, Advanced $147 for 75 and Business $438 for 225. The pricing page opens on annual billing, where the same plans show $16, $33, $118 and $350 a month, charged as yearly totals of $192, $400, $1,411 and $4,205. The page says it was last updated in October 2026, and its plain-text version says the prices were checked on 30 October 2026.

The Annual toggle carries a -40% badge, but no plan reaches 40%. Against twelve monthly payments, the yearly totals save about 33% on Basic ($192 against $288) and Professional ($400 against $600) and about 20% on Advanced ($1,411 against $1,764) and Business ($4,205 against $5,256). The docs agree with that arithmetic: “Annual billing saves up to 33% vs. monthly”.

The Free plan is a lasting $0 plan, not a trial: 10 uploads a month, 2 profiles, 1 seat and API access with no credit card, but no TikTok, and monthly quotas of 30 FFmpeg minutes and 10 AI Shorts analyses. The pricing page and homepage advertise a 15-day money-back guarantee on paid plans, but the Terms of Use (§7.3) call all payments “generally non-refundable” and say refund requests are considered case by case, and the docs FAQ says refund eligibility depends on your subscription terms and usage, so get the guarantee confirmed in writing before you pay. The paid-plan buttons read “Try for free” (“Start for free” on Professional) and link to the Upload-Post app’s login page, but no page we read states a free trial of a paid plan or its length. Extra-profile packs are one size per plan and do not stack: on monthly billing, Basic adds 5 profiles for $15 a month or 10 for $25, Professional 15 for $35 or 25 for $55, and Advanced 25 for $65 or 50 for $115; on annual billing the same packs cost $120, $200, $280, $440, $650 and $1,150 a year. Business adds profiles at $1 a month each. Posting links on X needs an add-on on a paid plan: $19 a month on monthly billing for up to 50 link posts a month, shared across all your X profiles. For annual billing the pricing page still labels it “+$19/mo (billed monthly)”, while the docs’ X Links guide says annual plans pay $152 a year. Without the add-on, URLs are stripped from X posts by default.

Worked examples from the published prices. A developer posting for one brand needs 1 profile: Free covers it at 10 uploads a month without TikTok, and Basic, at $24 a month billed monthly or $192 a year billed annually, removes the monthly upload cap and adds TikTok. A SaaS product onboarding 40 customers under its own brand needs white-label, so Professional plus the 15-profile pack: $85 a month billed monthly ($50 + $35), or $680 a year billed annually ($400 + $280). At 75 customers, Advanced costs $147 a month billed monthly or $1,411 a year. The vendor’s own figure for Professional, about $2 per profile a month on monthly billing ($50 for 25), falls to about $1.33 on annual billing ($400 ÷ 25 ÷ 12). Links in X posts add $19 a month on monthly billing, or $152 a year on annual billing according to the docs, for up to 50 link posts a month.

SDKs, MCP server and agent tools

Upload-Post publishes Python and Node.js SDKs; when we checked the registries, the upload-post package was at version 2.16.0 on npm and 2.14.0 on PyPI. The docs also list a CLI and a GitHub Action, guides for CrewAI, Google ADK, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Mastra, the OpenAI Agents SDK, Pydantic AI, smolagents and the Vercel AI SDK, an OpenAPI 3.0 spec, an llm.txt file for AI assistants, standardized error codes and a public status page.

The MCP server is hosted at mcp.upload-post.com/mcp and can also be run with npx @upload-post/mcp. It is MIT-licensed, its source is at github.com/Upload-Post/upload-post-mcp, and clients connect with an API key or OAuth 2.1. The vendor says it is an official connector in Claude’s connector directory, which we did not check independently. Its own pages disagree on its size: the homepage says 50 tools, llms.txt says 40 and the docs’ MCP guide says nearly 60.

For agent and no-code workflows the vendor also offers a free, open-source Claude Code skill (npx skills add Upload-Post/upload-post-skill), an n8n community node (n8n-nodes-upload-post), which the docs call verified and the homepage calls official, and integrations with Make, Zapier and Airtable.

Limits to plan around

Unlimited uploads on paid plans still have limits. The docs set hard daily caps per connected social account over a rolling 24 hours: 50 posts on Instagram, 15 on TikTok, 150 on LinkedIn, 30 on YouTube, 25 on Facebook, 50 on Threads, 20 on Pinterest and 25 videos or 10 GB on Bluesky, while X allows 10 on Free and Basic, 20 on Professional and 30 on Advanced and Business. The caps apply per account, not per API key, and TikTok also allows no more than 6 posts a minute per TikTok account.

API requests are limited per API account: 60 a minute and 300 per 10 minutes on Free and Basic, 100 and 500 on Professional, 200 and 1,000 on Advanced and 500 and 2,500 on Business, plus 2 a minute and 10 per 10 minutes for each profile, up to a hard ceiling of 1,000 a minute and 5,000 per 10 minutes. Responses carry X-RateLimit headers, and going over returns HTTP 429. Live per-post analytics calls share a limit of 100 requests per 5 minutes, and reading X post analytics by tweet ID stops at 5,000 distinct X posts per Upload-Post account per UTC day, plus at most 200 tweet IDs a day that turn out not to be yours.

On X, replies, edits and reposts also share one counter per X account per UTC day: 20 on Free and 200 on paid plans. AutoDM’s daily allowance is 10 on Free and 500 on paid plans, with 2 new monitors per profile per day that expire after 15 days, and after 10 consecutive failed authentication attempts with the same invalid key the IP is blocked for 5 minutes.

Security, privacy and support

Upload-Post’s DPA states TLS 1.2 or higher in transit, encryption at rest and field-level encryption of OAuth tokens on top (Fernet: AES-128-CBC with HMAC-SHA256). Its sub-processor list, updated September 4, 2026, puts hosting and databases at Hetzner in Germany and names Cloudflare R2 and CDN, Google Cloud Storage, the paid tier of the Google Gemini API for AI features, Stripe for billing, Amazon SES for email, Namecheap for the mailbox, Google Ads and Reddit for ad measurement and Telegram for internal alerts. The same page says Upload-Post does not use customer content to train AI. The privacy policy claims regular security assessments and penetration testing; we found no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 claim on the DPA, privacy policy or sub-processor pages.

One claim does not survive the vendor’s own paperwork. The homepage FAQ answers “No, Upload-Post does not store any personal data.”, but the sub-processor page and the DPA describe personal data held in MongoDB and Redis databases on Hetzner, database back-ups and copied profile pictures. The vendor also says it uses official, verified platform APIs with OAuth and no rotating IPs or scraping; that is its statement, which we cannot verify from outside.

Priority support is listed only on Advanced and Business. The docs landing page separately advertises a dedicated Slack channel and 24/7 priority support without naming a plan, so ask which plan includes them before you rely on either.

Who Upload-Post fits, and who should look elsewhere

Upload-Post suits developers and small SaaS teams that want one API for many networks without paying per connected account: a profile holds one account on every network, the Free plan includes the API, and Basic at $24 a month billed monthly ($16 billed annually) adds TikTok and removes the monthly upload cap. Products that onboard their own users get white-label from Professional, and agent builders get an MCP server, SDKs and framework guides.

Look elsewhere if you need Reddit today, DMs beyond Instagram, analytics for Discord or Telegram, or more than one seat on Basic (Professional, the first plan with 2 seats, is $50 a month billed monthly or $33 billed annually). If you run a handful of accounts for one brand, an API billed per connected account can cost less, so compare the per-account prices in the alternatives table below, and if you want a scheduling dashboard rather than an API, the multi-network schedulers in our Social Media Management reviews fit better. Teams that need a SOC 2 report should ask for one before buying, since the pages we read do not mention one.

The catches

We could not read an independent rating. G2 returned HTTP 403 to our requests, so we show no G2 score, and Trustpilot has no reviews to score. On 6 November 2026 its review address for upload-post.com first returned HTTP 404, while the same tool loaded other vendors’ Trustpilot profiles normally, and a Trustpilot search for “upload-post” listed no Upload-Post result; after we searched Trustpilot for the domain, the same address showed an unclaimed profile with 0 reviews and the line “This company hasn’t received any reviews yet.” The 4.9 on the homepage and on Upload-Post’s own reviews page is displayed by the vendor and is not independent.

The vendor’s pages disagree in places that matter to a buyer: Reddit is listed on the pricing page but unavailable according to the docs, no plan reaches the -40% annual badge, the 15-day money-back guarantee on the pricing page and homepage is not in the Terms of Use, which call payments generally non-refundable, the X links add-on reads “+$19/mo (billed monthly)” in the pricing page’s annual view while the docs say annual plans pay $152 a year, the MCP server has 40, 50 or nearly 60 tools depending on the page, the homepage says no personal data is stored while the DPA describes stored personal data, and the stated founding date (January 2025) is later than the Legal Notice’s effective date (April 27, 2024). Where the docs cover the same point, as with Reddit and the annual saving, they are the more cautious source, and on refunds the Terms of Use are, so read both before you build or pay.

Strengths

  • A lasting Free plan with API access, 2 profiles and no credit card, not a time-limited trial
  • Flat price per plan sized by profiles, and each profile holds one account on every network: Basic is $24 a month billed monthly ($16 billed annually) for 5 profiles
  • The vendor lists 22 networks, from TikTok, Instagram and YouTube to Bluesky, Mastodon, Discord, Telegram, WordPress and Dev.to
  • More than publishing: scheduling up to 365 days ahead, a posting queue, analytics, a comments API, Instagram DMs, AutoDM replies and HMAC-signed webhooks
  • Built for agents and code: Python and Node.js SDKs, a CLI, a GitHub Action, an MIT-licensed MCP server with a hosted endpoint, and guides for LangChain, CrewAI, the OpenAI Agents SDK and others
  • White-label onboarding from Professional, $50 a month billed monthly ($33 billed annually)
  • Detailed published limits: daily caps per connected account, API rate limits by plan with X-RateLimit headers, and an OpenAPI 3.0 spec
  • Hosting at Hetzner in Germany, a named sub-processor list and a DPA that adds field-level encryption of OAuth tokens

  • The pricing page and homepage advertise a 15-day money-back guarantee on paid plans, but the Terms of Use call payments generally non-refundable, with refunds considered case by case at the vendor’s discretion
  • Paid plans advertise unlimited uploads, but the docs enforce hard daily caps per connected account over a rolling 24 hours, such as 15 TikTok posts and 25 Facebook posts
  • The Free plan stops at 10 uploads a month and leaves out TikTok, and URLs are stripped from X posts unless you buy the X links add-on, $19 a month on monthly billing, for up to 50 link posts a month
  • Basic has 1 seat (owner only), white-label starts on Professional and priority support on Advanced
  • DMs are documented for Instagram only, and analytics skip Discord, Telegram and the credential-based channels
  • No independent rating: G2 blocked our requests, Trustpilot’s profile has 0 reviews, and the 4.9 on the homepage is the vendor’s own
  • The homepage FAQ says it stores no personal data, which its own sub-processor list and DPA contradict, and we found no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 claim
  • Its llms.txt dates the company to January 2025, while its Legal Notice carries an effective date of April 27, 2024

Key features

FeatureWhat it does
Publishing APIUpload endpoints for video, photos, text and documents (documents go to LinkedIn), each taking a profile and a list of platforms, so one call can publish to several networks. The API reference gives each endpoint its own list: video reaches 14 networks, photos 14 and text 17. Slack, Nostr, Dev.to, Hashnode, Whop and Listmonk take text only.
Scheduling and queueSchedule with a scheduled_date at most 365 days ahead; the API reference lists scheduling for X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Bluesky, Threads, Pinterest, YouTube, Discord and Telegram. Posts waiting to publish are capped per account by plan, from 5,000 on Free to 50,000 on Business. A posting queue and endpoints to edit, unpublish, repost and retry posts sit alongside.
Analytics APIThe Analytics page lists Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Reddit, Bluesky and Google Business, while the API reference lists only the first nine; for Reddit, the docs say an already-connected account may return data or reddit_unavailable. LinkedIn analytics cover only company pages you administer; Discord, Telegram and the credential-based channels have none. Live per-post endpoints share a limit of 100 requests per 5 minutes, and a cached bulk-replay endpoint is exempt.
Comments APILists and creates comments on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn company-page posts, TikTok (after reconnecting the account), X (through mentions), Threads and Bluesky. The docs disagree on deleting: the Comments page’s platform table marks delete for X and Bluesky (not Threads), but its Delete Comment endpoint accepts only Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok, as does the docs FAQ. Hide, like and pin support varies by network, and Reddit comments return HTTP 503.
DMs and AutoDMSend a DM and read conversations, documented on an Instagram page with Instagram examples, with a daily DM limit. AutoDM monitors send a private DM on Instagram or a public reply on TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Threads and Bluesky: 10 a day on Free and 500 a day on paid plans, 2 new monitors per profile per day, each expiring after 15 days.
Webhooksupload_completed, social_account_connected, social_account_disconnected and social_account_reauth_required, plus opt-in dm_received (Instagram) and comment_received (Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn company pages, with Threads rolling out). Payloads are signed with HMAC-SHA256, and webhooks can be set per account or per profile.
White-label and Connect APIFrom Professional, your own users connect their accounts through white-label JWT connect URLs, which expire after 48 hours. The Connect API lets you build your own connect page; its OAuth start endpoint also accepts snapchat, and twitch as read-only, neither of which is among the 22 marketed networks.
FFmpeg editor and AI ShortsAn FFmpeg video-editor API, and an AI Shorts API that takes a short-form video and returns AI-written titles, descriptions, captions and hashtags per platform. Each plan has a monthly quota: 30 to 10,000 FFmpeg minutes and 10 to 1,000 AI Shorts analyses. The docs also cover audience insights, hashtag and keyword suggestions and YouTube thumbnails.
ChatGPT AdsThe only ads integration in the docs. Connect your own OpenAI Ads account, create campaigns, ad groups and ads, which are created paused unless you send status: active, and read impressions, clicks and spend. Ad spend is billed to you by OpenAI.
SDKs, CLI and MCP serverPython and Node.js SDKs (upload-post 2.14.0 on PyPI and 2.16.0 on npm when we checked), a CLI, a GitHub Action, an OpenAPI 3.0 spec and an llm.txt file. The MIT-licensed MCP server is hosted at mcp.upload-post.com/mcp or runs with npx @upload-post/mcp, and accepts an API key or OAuth 2.1.
Automation integrationsAn n8n community node (n8n-nodes-upload-post), which the docs call verified and the homepage calls official, plus Make, Zapier and Airtable integrations, a free, open-source Claude Code skill, and docs guides for CrewAI, Google ADK, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Mastra, the OpenAI Agents SDK, Pydantic AI, smolagents and the Vercel AI SDK.

How Upload-Post compares

AlternativeHow it differs
AyrshareAlso bills by social profile, one customer, brand or location with any number of networks. Premium is $149 a month billed monthly ($129 billed annually) for 1 profile with up to 14 social accounts across 14 networks on its plan card (the comparison table on the same page says up to 13), and Launch is $299 a month billed monthly for up to 10 profiles; only Launch has a free trial, of 28 days. On the same monthly billing Upload-Post charges $24 for 5 profiles (Basic) and $50 for 25 (Professional).
BlotatoStarter is $29 a month on monthly billing for 20 social media accounts (the vendor says yearly billing saves about 17%), and its 7-day free trial covers all features except the API and MCP server, so testing its API means paying for a plan. Upload-Post’s Free plan includes API access, with 10 uploads a month and 2 profiles.
PostizBills by channel: Standard is $29 a month billed monthly ($23 a month billed annually) for 5 channels with unlimited posts, and every plan includes its MCP server, CLI and API. Its free start is a 7-day trial on every plan rather than a free plan, and it is offered as hosted cloud or open source. Upload-Post’s Basic covers 5 profiles, each with one account on every network, for $24 a month billed monthly ($16 billed annually).
PublerIts Free forever plan allows 3 social accounts, not X, with 10 scheduled posts per account at a time, and its help center says API access is only for eligible Business and Enterprise customers. Upload-Post includes API access on its Free plan.
ZernioBills per connected social account rather than per profile. Zernio’s pricing page says the first 2 accounts are free with no credit card (its pricing docs say a card is needed before the third account or the first X account), then $6 per account a month for accounts 3 to 10, $3 for 11 to 100 and $1 from 101, graduated and usage-based with a card on file. Zernio says every feature is included, with no plans or seats; X API calls are passed through at X’s own rates, and DMs beyond the first 10,000 sent a month and managed ads are metered. One brand on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube is 3 accounts, $6 a month on Zernio; on Upload-Post it is 1 profile, but TikTok needs Basic at $24 a month billed monthly. Five such brands are 15 accounts, $63 a month on Zernio, and still fit Upload-Post’s Basic plan.

Frequently asked questions

Is Upload-Post free?

Yes. The Free plan is a lasting $0 plan, not a trial, and needs no credit card. It includes 10 uploads a month, 2 profiles, 1 seat and API access, with monthly quotas of 30 FFmpeg minutes and 10 AI Shorts analyses. It does not include TikTok, which starts on Basic at $24 a month billed monthly ($16 a month billed annually).

How much does Upload-Post cost?

The vendor puts the range at $0 to $438 a month. On monthly billing Basic is $24 for 5 profiles, Professional $50 for 25, Advanced $147 for 75 and Business $438 for 225. On annual billing the same plans show $16, $33, $118 and $350 a month and are charged as $192, $400, $1,411 and $4,205 a year. Prices are flat per plan and in USD; European customers see EUR in the app, where Basic is €19 a month, or €13 a month billed yearly.

What counts as a profile?

One person or client, not one social account. Each profile connects one account on each network, so the 5 profiles on Basic can hold 5 TikTok, 5 Instagram and 5 YouTube accounts, and so on across the other networks. Seats, the owner plus team members, are capped separately: 1 on Free and Basic, 2 on Professional, 5 on Advanced and 10 on Business.

Are uploads on paid plans really unlimited?

There is no monthly upload cap on paid plans, but the docs enforce hard daily caps per connected account over a rolling 24 hours: 50 posts on Instagram, 15 on TikTok, 150 on LinkedIn, 30 on YouTube, 25 on Facebook, 50 on Threads, 20 on Pinterest, and 10 to 30 on X depending on the plan. The caps apply per account, not per API key, and TikTok also limits each account to 6 posts a minute.

Can Upload-Post post to Reddit?

Its pages disagree. The pricing page includes Reddit on the Free plan and the Reddit platform page says the integration supports image, text and link posts, but the API overview says Reddit posting is currently unavailable and returns HTTP 503 with the error code reddit_unavailable, and the comments API and MCP guide say the same. Plan as if Reddit is unavailable until the pages agree.

Does Upload-Post work with Claude, ChatGPT or other AI agents?

The homepage says you can use it as a tool for Claude, ChatGPT or any AI agent. It runs an MCP server, hosted at mcp.upload-post.com/mcp or run with npx @upload-post/mcp, that accepts an API key or OAuth 2.1, and the vendor says it is an official connector in Claude’s connector directory, which we did not check. There is also a Claude Code skill, and the docs have guides for CrewAI, Google ADK, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Mastra, the OpenAI Agents SDK, Pydantic AI, smolagents and the Vercel AI SDK. The vendor’s pages give the MCP server 40, 50 or nearly 60 tools.

Can I offer Upload-Post to my own users under my brand?

Yes, from Professional, $50 a month billed monthly or $33 a month billed annually. White-label onboarding uses JWT connect URLs that expire after 48 hours, and the Connect API lets you build your own connect page. Webhooks tell you when an account connects, disconnects or needs re-authorizing.

Does Upload-Post use official platform APIs?

The vendor says it does: it says it uses official, verified platform APIs with OAuth, and “We don’t use rotating IPs, scraping, or workarounds.” That is the vendor’s statement, which we could not test. Its Legal Notice also says Upload-Post is an independent third party, not affiliated with TikTok, Meta, Google/YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, Reddit or Bluesky.

Is there a free trial or a refund?

On refunds the vendor’s pages disagree. The pricing page and homepage advertise a 15-day money-back guarantee on paid plans, but the Terms of Use (§7.3) say “all payments are generally non-refundable” and that refund requests are considered case by case at Upload-Post’s sole discretion, and the docs FAQ says refund eligibility depends on your subscription terms and usage. Get the guarantee confirmed in writing before you pay. On trials, the paid-plan buttons on the pricing page read “Try for free” (“Start for free” on Professional) and link to the Upload-Post app’s login page, but no page we read states a free trial of a paid plan or its length. The way to try Upload-Post is the Free plan, which has no time limit.

Can Upload-Post post links on X?

Only with an add-on. URLs are stripped from X posts by default. The Post links on X add-on, sold on any paid plan, allows up to 50 link posts a month, shared across all your X profiles rather than per profile, and costs $19 a month on monthly billing. For annual billing the vendor’s pages disagree: the pricing page’s annual view labels the add-on “+$19/mo (billed monthly)”, while the docs’ X Links guide says the add-on bills on the same interval as the base plan, so annual plans pay $152 a year.

Where does Upload-Post store data?

Its sub-processor list, updated September 4, 2026, puts hosting and databases at Hetzner in Germany, names Cloudflare R2, Google Cloud Storage and other services, and says Upload-Post does not use customer content to train AI. Its DPA states TLS 1.2 or higher in transit and encryption at rest, with OAuth tokens encrypted again field by field. The homepage FAQ says it stores no personal data, which these pages contradict, and we found no SOC 2 or ISO 27001 claim.
