Free plan
—No answer shownAyrshare’s pages disagree: its help center says the free Basic Plan (20 posts a month) “is no longer available to new sign-ups”, its comparison index says “Ayrshare does not have a free plan” and its Zernio comparison says “no free tier”, but its Launch Plan docs still refer to “New customers on the free Basic Plan” and its subscription help article to upgrading “On the free Basic Plan”. A trial is not a free plan, so we show no answer.

Price
Included
Premium
$129/mo for 1 social profile, billed annually ($149/mo billed monthly)
1 social profile, single user. The plan card allows up to 14 social accounts across 14 networks, while the comparison table on the same page says up to 13. Schedule unlimited posts, basic analytics and reporting, comments moderation and Standard API rate limits. Support is 24/7 email on the plan card, while the comparison table lists email and chat. Billed at signup, no free trial. The pricing page says each profile includes moderation for comments, DMs and reviews, but the Messages API docs price messaging (DMs) on Premium as “a flat $49 per month add-on per account”, a price the pricing page does not show, and the Send Message API reference lists that endpoint as available on Launch, Business and Enterprise only. The pricing card and table list webhooks from Launch, while the Register Webhook API reference says webhooks are available on Premium too. The pricing table marks Max Pack as Not offered on Premium, while a help-center plan comparison lists the Max Pack add-on for Premium.
Launch
$249/mo for up to 10 social profiles, billed annually ($299/mo billed monthly)
Up to 10 social profiles and unlimited team members. The plan card allows up to 140 accounts across 14 networks; the comparison table says 130. Adds historical content access, advanced analytics, expanded API rate limits, custom branding options, 24/7 email and chat support and webhook integrations. The only plan with the 28-day free trial, which requires a payment method (a credit card or Stripe Link). The Launch docs list direct messages among what the plan includes, while the Messages API docs bill messaging on Launch at $0.09 per active conversation (Stripe metered billing), with up to 1,000 active conversations per User Profile per billing cycle. On yearly billing the plan card shows $249 a month, but the pricing calculator on the same page shows Launch at “$248 / month, billed yearly”.
BusinessPOPULAR
$499/mo for the first 30 social profiles, billed annually ($599/mo billed monthly)
Ayrshare’s pricing page labels this plan Most Popular. 30 social profiles included, then, on the rate card under the pricing calculator, per profile per month: $8.99 ($7.99 billed annually) for profiles 31 to 100, $3.49 ($2.99) for 101 to 500 and $2.49 ($1.99) above 500; the pricing FAQ says rates fall to $1.99 per profile “as you scale beyond 500 profiles” (annual billing). The plan card allows up to 420 accounts (the table says 390). The card says tiered pricing runs up to 300 profiles and the table gives Business as 11 to 300 profiles, and the calculator prices Business only up to 299 profiles: from 300 it recommends Enterprise and shows no price (“BEYOND SELF-SERVE”). Billed at signup, no free trial. The Messages API docs say messaging “is included with all Ayrshare Business Plans”, and on the same page bill it on Launch and Business at $0.09 per active conversation (Stripe metered billing), with up to 1,000 active conversations per User Profile per billing cycle.
Enterprise
Custom (volume-based pricing, from 300 social profiles)
Dedicated account manager, advanced security and compliance, Max Pack included, priority support and onboarding, a private hotline and a 99.9% API SLA. The pricing FAQ says Enterprise agreements can bring the effective price to approximately $1 per profile per month at larger volumes.
Max Pack add-on
$300 per month
For Launch and Business; included with Enterprise. Adds AI post generation, rewriting, translation, alt text, sentiment and video transcription, a link shortener with analytics, image resize and effects, longer JWT expiry, a staging server and CSS customization of the social account linking page. The Launch plan docs say it is available at a reduced Launch price, which the pricing page does not show. The pricing page describes it as a way to “Unlock maximum posting limits and advanced features”, without numbers. The pricing table marks it Not offered on Premium, while a help-center plan comparison lists the Max Pack add-on for Premium. The Generate API docs cap AI usage at a monthly token allocation that refreshes on the 1st: 300,000 tokens for Business plans, 100,000 for Premium Plus plans (a plan the pricing page does not list) and 50,000 for Premium plans, with no separate figure for Launch.
Ads add-on
$100 per month
Named Ads (Facebook Boosted) on the pricing page. The Ads API docs cover boosting Facebook and Instagram posts and managing Google Search and Performance Max campaigns. For Launch and Business; included with Enterprise.
Basic (legacy)
Free (legacy); the help center says it is closed to new sign-ups
The old Basic plan included 20 posts per month. Ayrshare’s pages disagree on whether new accounts can still get it: the help center says it “is no longer available to new sign-ups”, the comparison index says “Ayrshare does not have a free plan” and the Zernio comparison says “no free tier”, but the Launch Plan docs still refer to “New customers on the free Basic Plan” and the subscription help article to upgrading “On the free Basic Plan”. The sign-up page asks only for an email and password or a GitHub or Google login; we did not create an account, so we could not check which plan a new account starts on.

“Ayrshare is a broad social media API for products that post on behalf of many customers. One request publishes to any of 13 networks, history, analytics, comments, messages, ads and webhooks come through the same integration, the rate limits are published, and a hosted MCP server and machine-readable docs make it straightforward to connect an AI agent. Billing per social profile means a customer counts once however many networks it connects. The costs and caveats are real: Ayrshare’s pages disagree on whether a free plan still exists, the cheapest plan on the pricing page is $149 a month for one profile ($129 a month billed annually), the only trial is on Launch and needs a payment method, the 11th profile roughly doubles the bill, ads cost extra, and the Messages API docs charge for DMs ($49 a month on Premium, $0.09 per active conversation on Launch and Business) although the pricing page lists DM moderation in every profile, X needs your own developer credentials, and its SOC 2 claim is a badge in an Enterprise-page graphic with no report details. Ayrshare’s own pages also disagree on several limits, starting with whether posts are unlimited. Use the trial to test your real posting volume, get your plan’s post quota in writing, and, if you serve one brand or only a few, compare the other APIs in our Social Media & Messaging APIs niche.”
Best for
SaaS platforms, agency tools and AI products that post on behalf of many customers, each billed as one social profile whatever it connects
Products that need history, analytics, comments, DMs and ads through the same API as publishing
Developers connecting an AI agent to social accounts through a hosted MCP server
Watch out for
Ayrshare’s pages disagree on whether a free plan still exists: three say there is none for new sign-ups, while two docs pages still mention “the free Basic Plan”. The cheapest plan on the pricing page is $149 a month on monthly billing for one profile ($129 a month billed annually), and the only trial is 28 days on Launch, with a payment method
Steep plan steps: an 11th profile moves you from Launch at $299 a month to Business at $599 (monthly billing)

Ayrshare is a social media API: a service that other software calls to publish and manage posts on social accounts. Its homepage headline is “Unified Social Media API for Posting, Scheduling, Analytics, and AI Agents”, and the code sample beside it sends one POST request that publishes to several networks at once. Next to the REST API it offers a GraphQL API and a hosted MCP server, which the vendor says lets AI assistants post, schedule and pull analytics.
The pricing page addresses people “building a SaaS product, launching an AI startup, running an agency platform, or managing social for your own brand”, and the plans follow that order: Premium is “For businesses managing their own social presence”, Launch “For MVPs and beta testing” and Business “For SaaS platforms and agencies that want to scale”. The API is organized around API keys and user profiles: each customer you post for gets a profile, sent as a Profile-Key header, with its own rate limits.
Geoff Bourne and Boris Markovich founded Ayrshare in 2020, and it joined saas.group in October 2025; the About page names Marc Blinder as CEO and describes a remote, international team. The usage figures are Ayrshare’s, not ours: the homepage says it is “Trusted by 10,000+ teams, from AI startups to Fortune 500 companies”, and the vendor claims 30M+ API calls a day. Its own pages disagree on volume: the pricing page claims over 50,000 posts per day, while the About page says “We publish nearly 20,000 social posts per day” and, in its CEO’s profile, that he leads the team building “the platform that powers millions of daily posts”. The About page also says the platform has been live for four years although it dates the founding to 2020.
Networks: 13 for publishing, plus WhatsApp messages
Ayrshare’s supported-networks page names 14: Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, Threads, Bluesky, Snapchat, Telegram, Google Business Profile and WhatsApp. Thirteen are for publishing. WhatsApp is “Messaging only, so there’s no posting”, and its status depends on the page: “Available in beta” on the networks page, WhatsApp (beta) on the homepage, WhatsApp (Private Beta) in the Messages API docs, and “WhatsApp API Now Available in Ayrshare” in the site’s announcement bar. Marketing pages say 14+ networks; the API overview says 14.
Each network keeps its own rules. Facebook is “Pages only, no personal profiles”. On X, “You bring your own X developer app credentials”: the Publish a Post docs say that starting March 31, 2026, all X operations require your own API credentials, and call it a one-time setup per Ayrshare account, with one X developer app reused across every user profile you link. Telegram allows 1,024 characters per post and has no analytics. Ayrshare’s own comparison page lists Discord and Slack as not supported.
Requests go to https://api.ayrshare.com/api with your API key as a Bearer token, and requests made for one of your customers add that customer’s Profile-Key header. One POST /post request publishes to every network named in its platforms array, now or at a scheduled time, and the sample response lists a post ID and URL for each network. The Publish a Post page says it is available on Premium, Launch, Business and Enterprise.
The other APIs sit around publishing. The History API pulls past posts per profile, including posts published outside Ayrshare; the vendor puts the depth at 200 to 500 posts, and the pricing page lists historical content access from Launch up, not on Premium, while the History API references say they are “Available on Premium, Launch, Business, Enterprise plans.” Post analytics cover 11 networks (Bluesky, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat, Threads, TikTok, YouTube and X), basic on Premium and advanced from Launch. Comments through an Ayrshare post ID work on 9 networks: Bluesky, Facebook Pages, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, Threads, TikTok, X and YouTube. Direct messages cover Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct, X and WhatsApp in private beta, and the Messages API docs charge for them: a flat $49 a month per account on Premium and $0.09 per active conversation on Launch and Business, with up to 1,000 active conversations per User Profile per billing cycle.
The Ads API boosts Facebook and Instagram posts and manages Google Search and Performance Max campaigns; it needs the Ads add-on, which the pricing page names only Ads (Facebook Boosted). Webhooks are listed on the pricing card and table from Launch, while the Register Webhook API reference says they are available on Premium too. They are delivered at least once: a delivery that times out, drops, or gets a 5xx, 429, 408 or 425 response gets up to 9 attempts over about an hour, then decaying retries, so it can arrive up to about 16 hours late, while any other 4xx response is treated as final and is not retried. The Enterprise page says seven checks run on every post before it goes out: adult content links, duplicates, too many posts in a day, too many mentions, too many hashtags, banned hashtags and spam patterns, although its own heading speaks of “Dozens of checks between your users and a ban” and the About page says “We run dozens of checks on every post”. A GraphQL API runs beside REST. Its limits page bills each root field as one API call “against your plan’s quota and rate limit” and says GraphQL “is not a way to get more API calls than your plan includes”, while the pricing FAQ says every plan includes unlimited API calls; no page we read states an API-call allowance. One request can trigger at most 5 API calls.
Pricing: what a profile is and what a small product pays
Ayrshare bills by social profile: “one customer, brand, or location connected to any number of social networks.” A customer who connects LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and X is one profile; a franchise whose 10 locations post independently is 10. Nothing is charged per seat: Premium is a single-user plan, and Launch and above allow unlimited team members. Billing follows the peak number of active profiles in each monthly cycle, and deleting a profile through the API stops its billing. The pricing FAQ adds that Business plans require a minimum of 10 or 30 profiles, depending on the tier.
Prices per month, on monthly billing and then billed annually: Premium $149 or $129 for 1 profile; Launch $299 or $249 for up to 10 profiles (the calculator shows $248 billed yearly); Business $599 or $499 with 30 profiles included, then per profile per month $8.99 or $7.99 for profiles 31 to 100, $3.49 or $2.99 for 101 to 500 and $2.49 or $1.99 above 500, as listed on the rate card under the pricing calculator. The calculator itself prices Business only up to 299 profiles: from 300 it recommends Enterprise and shows no price (“BEYOND SELF-SERVE”). Enterprise is custom from 300 profiles, and the pricing FAQ says it can come to approximately $1 per profile per month at larger volumes. The page opens on monthly billing. The yearly toggle is labelled Save 17%, which works out at about 16.7% on Launch and Business but about 13.4% on Premium by our arithmetic. The vendor marks Business as Most Popular.
Worked examples from those prices. One brand posting to its own networks needs Premium: $149 a month, or $1,788 over twelve months on monthly billing, against $1,548 a year at $129 a month billed annually. A product with 10 customers fits Launch at $299 a month ($29.90 per profile) or $249 a month billed annually ($2,988 a year). The 11th customer moves it to Business, which roughly doubles the bill to $599 a month on monthly billing ($499 billed annually). At 50 profiles Business costs $599 + 20 × $8.99 = $778.80 a month on monthly billing, or $499 + 20 × $7.99 = $658.80 billed annually. At 100 profiles Ayrshare’s own calculator shows $1,228 a month on monthly billing ($12.28 per profile) and $1,058 a month billed yearly.
Two add-ons are sold for Launch and Business and included with Enterprise: Max Pack at $300 a month, which adds AI post generation, rewriting, translation, alt text, sentiment and video transcription, a link shortener with analytics, image resize and effects, longer JWT expiry and a staging server, and Ads (Facebook Boosted) at $100 a month. The Launch plan docs say Max Pack is available at a reduced Launch price, which the pricing page does not show. Messaging (DMs) costs extra according to the Messages API docs, though not on the pricing page: a flat $49 a month per account on Premium and $0.09 per active conversation, metered, on Launch and Business. Whether a free plan still exists is unclear from Ayrshare’s own pages: the help center says the old Basic plan, with 20 posts per month, is closed to new sign-ups, and the comparison index and the Zernio comparison say there is no free plan or tier, but the Launch Plan docs and a subscription help article still refer to customers “on the free Basic Plan”. The only trial is 28 days on Launch, and it needs a payment method (a credit card or Stripe Link); Premium, Business and Enterprise are billed at signup.
Limits, and where Ayrshare’s pages disagree
The pricing FAQ says “Every plan includes unlimited API calls and unlimited posts”, and the Premium card says Schedule unlimited posts. The help center says otherwise: “Each profile can send a set number of posts each month.” That quota depends on the plan, but the pricing page shows no amount for any plan. The same page describes the $300-a-month Max Pack add-on as a way to “Unlock maximum posting limits”, again without numbers. It resets on the 1st of each month at 00:07 UTC, failed posts count toward it, and when it runs out the API returns HTTP 429 with code 106. One post request counts once however many networks it targets, and the API leaves out the monthlyPostQuota field when the quota is 10,000 or more, as on Business plans, although the limit still applies. If your product posts heavily, ask Ayrshare for your plan’s number in writing. API calls are disputed too: the GraphQL limits page counts them against “your plan’s quota”, which no page we read quantifies.
Rate limits are published: 300 API requests per 5-minute interval per user profile, reported in the x-ratelimit-max and x-ratelimit-count response headers. A profile that collects 1,000 rate-limit violations (429 errors) within 24 hours is suspended automatically, and profiles can be deleted at up to 8 per second. The pricing table rates API limits as Standard on Premium, Expanded on Launch and Business and Custom on Enterprise, without numbers.
Several figures disagree on the pricing page itself. The plan cards allow up to 14, 140 and 420 social accounts on Premium, Launch and Business, while the comparison table says 13, 130 and 390. The Business card says tiered pricing runs from the 31st profile up to 300 social profiles and the table gives Business as 11 to 300 social profiles; the calculator agrees, recommending Enterprise with no price (“BEYOND SELF-SERVE”) from 300 profiles, but the rate card under it lists Business rates for 101 to 500 profiles and above 500, and the pricing FAQ says rates fall to $1.99 per profile “as you scale beyond 500 profiles” (annual billing). The trial varies too: the banner offers Launch plan access, the Launch docs describe the same APIs and profile capacity as a paid Launch plan, the pricing FAQ promises full Business Plan access, including Max Pack, and the add-on section says the add-ons also unlock during the trial. Messaging is unclear too: the pricing page says each profile includes moderation for comments, DMs and reviews, while the Messages API docs charge a flat $49 a month per account on Premium and $0.09 per active conversation, through Stripe metered billing, on Launch and Business, although the same page says messaging is included with all Business Plans and the Send Message API reference lists that endpoint for Launch, Business and Enterprise only. The pricing table marks Max Pack as Not offered on Premium and webhooks as not on Premium, while a help-center plan comparison lists the Max Pack add-on for Premium and the Register Webhook API reference lists webhooks on Premium. Premium’s support is 24/7 email on its plan card but email and chat in the table. The History API is listed from Launch on the pricing page, while its API references say it is available on Premium too, and on yearly billing the Launch card shows $249 a month where the calculator shows $248. Finally, the pages disagree on whether a free plan still exists, as the pricing section above sets out.
MCP server, SDKs and agent tools
The MCP server is hosted at https://api.ayrshare.com/mcp over stateless Streamable HTTP and authenticates with your API key as a Bearer header. The homepage and the AI-agent page say it has 27 tools; the docs catalog says 33 and lists 33 by domain (Posts 5, History 2, Analytics 3, Comments 3, Messages 4, Profiles 3, Media 1, Generate 2, Webhooks 3, Ads 6, Errors 1). The MCP docs say working with profiles and sub-profiles requires “a Business plan (or Enterprise)”; they do not say whether Launch, which Ayrshare’s docs call the entry-level tier of the Business Plan, qualifies. Ayrshare’s homepage says the server works with Claude Code, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, Gemini CLI, VS Code, n8n, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen and any MCP client. Its Connect to the MCP Server docs disagree: the server authenticates only with a static Authorization: Bearer header, so a personal custom connector on claude.ai, Claude Desktop or Claude mobile cannot authenticate, because it cannot send that header and Ayrshare publishes no OAuth metadata. The docs list Claude Code (CLI and plugin), Cursor, VS Code, n8n and any client that can send custom HTTP headers as working, and Claude Team or Enterprise organization administrators as a beta option; their client table does not mention ChatGPT. It also publishes a Claude Code plugin on GitHub and a separate, read-only Documentation MCP for coding agents building the integration.
Official packages cover Node.js (social-media-api on npm) and Python (social-post-api on PyPI), with a Flutter package and a Bubble plugin, and the docs carry guides for Airtable, FlutterFlow, Make, n8n, Notion and Retool. The API reference shows code in cURL, JavaScript, Python, PHP, Go, C# and Ruby. For tools that read documentation, Ayrshare publishes llms.txt, an llms-full.txt of about 2.5 MB, Markdown versions of site and docs pages and a machine-readable pricing.md (last modified October 27, 2026), plus Postman and Hurl testing guides, a changelog, a status page at status.ayrshare.com and a GraphQL Explorer.
Security, compliance and white-label
The security statements are Ayrshare’s own, and we have not tested them: it says API traffic is protected with TLS 1.3, with a post-quantum-ready hybrid key exchange for clients that support it, data at rest is encrypted on Google Cloud, social network keys are kept in a secret manager, payments run through Stripe (PCI), and the dashboard offers 2-step verification. The Enterprise page adds GDPR compliance, a signed Data Processing Agreement and isolated multi-tenant or single-tenant options. The only SOC 2 mention we found is a “SOC 2 · GDPR · signed DPA” badge in the hero graphic on the Enterprise page: the page text, the pricing page and the full documentation we read on November 6, 2026 do not mention SOC 2 or name a report type, auditor or date, and none of them mentions ISO 27001. If your security review needs an audit report, ask for it directly.
Enterprise contracts include a 99.9% API SLA. The homepage’s >99.99% API uptime is a marketing figure, not that contract. Publishing is white-label with one exception, the OAuth consent screen, which Ayrshare says the social networks require to name Ayrshare, so your customers see Ayrshare’s name when they connect their accounts.
Who Ayrshare fits, and who should look elsewhere
Ayrshare fits SaaS platforms, agency tools and AI products that post for many customers who each connect several networks, because a customer counts as one profile whatever it connects, and the history, analytics, comments, messaging and ads APIs come through the same integration. At volume, the rate card lists Business at $2.49 per profile a month on monthly billing above 500 profiles ($1.99 billed annually), although the pricing calculator recommends Enterprise, with custom pricing, from 300 profiles. Teams building agents get a hosted MCP server and documentation published in machine-readable form.
It is an expensive way to post for a single brand or a side project: Ayrshare’s pages disagree on whether a free plan still exists, Premium costs $149 a month on monthly billing for one profile ($129 a month billed annually), and the only trial is on Launch, with a payment method. Zernio, which Ayrshare’s own comparison index names as a competitor, bills per connected account instead; its pricing page says the first 2 accounts are free with no credit card, then $6 per account a month for accounts 3 to 10, $3 for 11 to 100 and $1 from 101, and it meters DMs beyond the first 10,000 sent a month and passes X API calls through at X’s rates. One brand on five networks is 1 Ayrshare profile or 5 Zernio accounts, which by our arithmetic from Zernio’s stated tiers comes to $18 a month there against $149 on Ayrshare’s monthly billing. At the other end, 10 customers that each connect 13 networks are 10 Ayrshare profiles, $299 a month on Launch (monthly billing), or 130 Zernio accounts, $348 a month by Zernio’s tiers; Ayrshare’s own Zernio comparison page shows the same figures. Check that each covers the networks you need first. If you need Discord or Slack, Ayrshare does not support them. And if you want a dashboard to plan and schedule your own posts rather than an API to build on, the schedulers in our Social Media Management niche, such as Buffer, are built for that.
The catches
On Trustpilot, Ayrshare’s claimed profile had only 5 reviews when we read it on November 6, 2026, below the 10-review minimum we need before showing a score. G2 and Capterra blocked our reads with HTTP 403 errors, so we show no score from either.
The entry price is high for one brand, the step from Launch to Business comes at the 11th profile, and Ayrshare’s own pages disagree on whether a free plan still exists, the post quota, the account caps, the Business profile range, what the trial includes, whether DMs are included or charged, whether Premium gets webhooks, Max Pack and the History API, whether API calls are unlimited, the yearly Launch price ($249 on the card, $248 in the calculator), the Max Pack price on Launch, Premium’s support channels, how many pre-publish checks run, the MCP tool count, which MCP clients can connect and how many posts it publishes a day. The SOC 2 claim is a badge in an Enterprise-page graphic, with no report type, auditor or date. X needs your own developer credentials, Facebook is limited to Pages, and WhatsApp is messaging only and in beta. Read the help center’s quota article and get your plan’s limits in writing before you build on it.
Its status page lists an incident on the Ayrshare API on August 11, 2026 (“Increased Latency Leading to Post Errors”), in which, the vendor says, “a small number of posts were encountered errors when our autoscaling wasn’t keeping up with load”. The incident page gives it as 45 minutes, from 4:20 to 5:05 PM UTC, while the status page’s RSS feed gives 1 hour and 5 minutes; the vendor later downgraded its impact, saying the customer-visible impact was minimal, and the page still showed 100.0% uptime for the API on November 6, 2026. In the same 90 days it also lists a Pinterest-side incident on August 14, when Pinterest posts failed at an elevated rate for 46 minutes.
Strengths
Billed per social profile: one customer, brand or location counts once however many networks it connects, with no charge per seat or per network
One POST /post request publishes to any of 13 networks, and it counts as one post toward the quota however many networks it targets
More than publishing: a History API, analytics on 11 networks, comments on 9, DMs on Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct and X (charged separately, per the Messages API docs), webhooks and an Ads API (a paid add-on)
Hosted MCP server, a GraphQL API next to REST, Node.js and Python packages, and API reference samples in cURL, JavaScript, Python, PHP, Go, C# and Ruby
Documentation built for tools as well as people: llms.txt, Markdown versions of pages, a machine-readable pricing.md and a read-only Documentation MCP
Published rate limits (300 requests per 5 minutes per profile) and documented webhook retries
Billing follows the peak number of active profiles each monthly cycle, and deleting a profile through the API stops its billing
Enterprise contracts include a 99.9% API SLA, a signed Data Processing Agreement and single-tenant options
The pricing page promises unlimited posts, but the help center sets a per-profile monthly post quota whose amount the pricing page does not show, and the page sells the $300-a-month Max Pack as a way to “Unlock maximum posting limits”
Ayrshare’s pages contradict each other on whether a free plan still exists, account caps (14, 140 and 420 on the plan cards, 13, 130 and 390 in the table), the Business profile range, what the trial includes, whether DMs are included or charged (a $49-a-month add-on on Premium and $0.09 per active conversation on Launch and Business, per the Messages API docs), whether Premium gets webhooks, Max Pack and the History API, whether API calls are unlimited, the yearly Launch price ($249 on the card, $248 in the calculator), the Max Pack price on Launch, Premium’s support channels, the number of pre-publish checks, the MCP tool count, which MCP clients can connect and its daily post volume
X needs your own X developer app credentials (all X operations since March 31, 2026), Facebook is Pages only, and WhatsApp is messaging only and in beta
Ayrshare’s Enterprise page shows a “SOC 2 · GDPR · signed DPA” badge in its hero graphic, but no page or doc we read names a SOC 2 report type, auditor or date, and none mentions ISO 27001
The OAuth consent screen names Ayrshare, so white-label publishing stops at the account-connection step
Discord and Slack are not supported, according to Ayrshare’s own comparison page
Only 5 Trustpilot reviews when we read the profile on November 6, 2026, too few for us to show a score, and G2 and Capterra blocked our reads
Key features
Feature
What it does
Publishing API
POST /post publishes text and media to any of 13 networks listed in its platforms array, now or at a scheduled time: Facebook Pages, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, Threads, Bluesky, Snapchat, Telegram and Google Business Profile. The sample response returns a post ID and URL for each network. Available on every plan.
History API
Pulls past posts per profile, including posts published outside Ayrshare; the vendor puts the depth at 200 to 500 posts per profile. The pricing page lists historical content access from Launch up, not on Premium, while the History API references say they are “Available on Premium, Launch, Business, Enterprise plans.”
Analytics API
Post analytics for Bluesky, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat, Threads, TikTok, YouTube and X; Telegram has none. Basic analytics and reporting on Premium, advanced from Launch.
Comments and Messages
Comments through an Ayrshare post ID on Bluesky, Facebook Pages, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, Threads, TikTok, X and YouTube. DMs on Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct, X and WhatsApp (private beta); the Messages API docs say messaging is included with all Business Plans, and on the same page price it at a flat $49 a month per account on Premium and $0.09 per active conversation, metered, on Launch and Business, with up to 1,000 active conversations per User Profile per billing cycle; the pricing page shows neither price.
Ads API
Boosts Facebook and Instagram posts and manages Google Search and Performance Max campaigns. Needs the Ads add-on ($100 a month), which the pricing page names Ads (Facebook Boosted).
Webhooks
Delivered at least once. A delivery that times out, drops, or gets a 5xx, 429, 408 or 425 response gets up to 9 attempts over about an hour, then decaying retries, so it can arrive up to about 16 hours late; any other 4xx response is treated as final and is not retried. The pricing card and table list webhooks from Launch, not on Premium, while the Register Webhook API reference says webhooks are available on Premium, Launch, Business and Enterprise.
Pre-publish checks
The Enterprise page says seven checks run on every post: adult content links, duplicates, too many posts in a day, too many mentions, too many hashtags, banned hashtags and spam patterns. The same page’s heading promises “Dozens of checks between your users and a ban”, and the About page says “We run dozens of checks on every post”.
GraphQL API
Runs beside REST. The GraphQL limits page bills each root field as one API call “against your plan’s quota and rate limit” and says GraphQL “is not a way to get more API calls than your plan includes”, while the pricing FAQ says every plan includes unlimited API calls; no page we read states an API-call allowance. One request can trigger at most 5 API calls.
MCP server
Hosted at https://api.ayrshare.com/mcp over stateless Streamable HTTP, authenticated only with a static Authorization: Bearer header carrying your API key. The homepage says it works with ChatGPT and any MCP client, but the Connect to the MCP Server docs say a personal custom connector on claude.ai, Claude Desktop or Claude mobile cannot authenticate, because it cannot send that header and Ayrshare publishes no OAuth metadata; they list Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, n8n and any client that can send custom HTTP headers as working, and their client table does not mention ChatGPT. The docs catalog lists 33 tools; the homepage and AI-agent page say 27. The MCP docs say working with profiles and sub-profiles requires “a Business plan (or Enterprise)”; they do not say whether Launch, which Ayrshare’s docs call the entry-level tier of the Business Plan, qualifies. A read-only Documentation MCP and a Claude Code plugin are offered too.
SDKs and integrations
Node.js (social-media-api on npm) and Python (social-post-api on PyPI) packages, a Flutter package and a Bubble plugin, with guides for Airtable, FlutterFlow, Make, n8n, Notion and Retool.
Multi-user profiles
Each customer is a user profile with its own Profile-Key header and its own rate limits. Publishing is white-label except for the OAuth consent screen, which names Ayrshare. Custom branding options are listed from Launch.
Max Pack
A $300-a-month add-on for Launch and Business on the pricing page, included with Enterprise; a help-center plan comparison lists it for Premium too. AI post generation, rewriting, translation, alt text, sentiment and video transcription, a link shortener with analytics, image resize and effects, longer JWT expiry and a staging server. The AI endpoints draw on a monthly token allocation that refreshes on the 1st: 300,000 tokens for Business plans, 100,000 for Premium Plus and 50,000 for Premium, per the Generate API docs. The pricing page also describes it as a way to “Unlock maximum posting limits”, without numbers.
Starter is a flat $29 a month, billed monthly, for up to 20 connected accounts on 9 networks. Ayrshare is built for products posting on behalf of many customers, with per-profile billing, a Profile-Key header for each customer and a hosted MCP server; check whether you need that multi-customer setup or posting for your own accounts.
Reviewed separately, and also grouped by Ayrshare’s comparison index with the SaaS schedulers. Ayrshare is the API layer rather than a scheduling dashboard: its Premium plan is $149 a month on monthly billing for 1 profile and a single user.
Standard is $29 a month billed monthly for 5 channels, with the API on every plan. Compare what you get beyond publishing: Ayrshare adds a History API, analytics on 11 networks, comments on 9, DMs and an Ads API, with published rate limits of 300 requests per 5 minutes per profile.
Ayrshare’s comparison index groups it with the SaaS schedulers it compares itself with, not with the APIs. A scheduler suits planning your own posts in a dashboard; Ayrshare suits building posting into your own product.
Named in Ayrshare’s own comparison index among the social media APIs it competes with. Compare billing units first: Ayrshare charges per social profile, so one customer counts once across up to 13 publishing networks, from $149 a month on monthly billing.
Priced per connected social account rather than per profile. Zernio’s pricing page says the first 2 accounts are free with no credit card, then $6 per account a month for accounts 3 to 10, $3 for 11 to 100 and $1 from 101, usage-based, with every feature included and no plans or seats: a free usage tier, not a trial. The same page passes X API calls through at X’s rates and meters DMs beyond the first 10,000 sent a month. Ayrshare’s pages disagree on whether it still has a free plan, and its cheapest plan on the pricing page is $149 a month on monthly billing for 1 profile ($129 a month billed annually), however many networks that profile connects. Zernio was called Late before its rebrand.
Its pages disagree. The help center says the old Basic plan, which included 20 posts per month, “is no longer available to new sign-ups”, the comparison index says “Ayrshare does not have a free plan” and the Zernio comparison says “no free tier”. But the Launch Plan docs still refer to “New customers on the free Basic Plan”, and the subscription help article says “On the free Basic Plan, you can upgrade to any plan yourself”. We did not create an account, so we could not check which plan a new one starts on. The trial is clearer: 28 days on the Launch plan only, and starting it requires a payment method (a credit card or Stripe Link). Premium, Business and Enterprise are billed at signup with no trial. Ayrshare’s pages also disagree on what the trial unlocks: the pricing banner offers Launch plan access, while the pricing FAQ says it includes full Business Plan access, including Max Pack.
How much does Ayrshare cost?
Per month, on monthly billing or billed annually: Premium is $149 or $129 for 1 social profile, Launch $299 or $249 for up to 10 profiles, and Business $599 or $499 with 30 profiles included, then, on the rate card, $8.99 or $7.99 per profile for profiles 31 to 100, $3.49 or $2.99 for 101 to 500 and $2.49 or $1.99 above 500. The pricing calculator prices Business only up to 299 profiles and recommends Enterprise, custom-priced, from 300. On annual billing Premium comes to $1,548 a year, against $1,788 over twelve months on monthly billing. Max Pack ($300 a month) and Ads (Facebook Boosted, $100 a month) are add-ons for Launch and Business. The Messages API docs add messaging (DMs): a flat $49 a month per account on Premium and $0.09 per active conversation, metered, on Launch and Business; the pricing page shows neither price.
What counts as a social profile?
One customer, brand or location, connected to any number of social networks. A customer who connects LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and X counts as one profile, while a franchise whose 10 locations post independently counts as 10. Billing follows the peak number of active profiles in each monthly cycle, and deleting a profile through the API stops its billing. The plan cards cap social accounts at 14, 140 and 420 on Premium, Launch and Business, but the comparison table on the same page says 13, 130 and 390.
Is there a limit on posts or API calls?
Ayrshare’s pages disagree. The pricing FAQ says every plan includes unlimited API calls and unlimited posts, but the help center says each profile has a monthly post quota that depends on the plan, and the pricing page shows no quota amount for any plan, although it sells the $300-a-month Max Pack add-on as a way to “Unlock maximum posting limits”. API calls are disputed too: the GraphQL limits page counts them against “your plan’s quota”, which no page we read quantifies. The quota resets on the 1st of each month at 00:07 UTC, one post request counts once however many networks it targets, failed posts count, and an exhausted quota returns HTTP 429 with code 106. The API leaves out the quota field when it is 10,000 or more, as on Business plans, but the limit still applies. Separately, each user profile may make 300 API requests per 5-minute interval, and 1,000 rate-limit violations within 24 hours suspend the profile automatically.
Which networks does Ayrshare support?
Ayrshare names 14: Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, Threads, Bluesky, Snapchat, Telegram, Google Business Profile and WhatsApp. The first 13 are for publishing; WhatsApp is messaging only and in beta. Facebook is Pages only, Telegram allows 1,024 characters per post and has no analytics, and Ayrshare’s comparison page lists Discord and Slack as not supported.
Can I post to X through Ayrshare?
Yes, with your own X developer app. The Publish a Post docs say that starting March 31, 2026, all X operations require your own API credentials, sent as two headers with each request. They call it a one-time setup per Ayrshare account: you create one X developer app and reuse its key and secret across every user profile you link.
Does Ayrshare work with Claude, ChatGPT or other AI agents?
Partly. Its hosted MCP server at https://api.ayrshare.com/mcp uses stateless Streamable HTTP and authenticates only with a static Authorization: Bearer header carrying your API key. Ayrshare’s homepage says it works with Claude Code, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, Gemini CLI, VS Code, n8n, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen and any MCP client. Its Connect to the MCP Server docs disagree: a personal custom connector on claude.ai, Claude Desktop or Claude mobile cannot authenticate, because it cannot send that header and Ayrshare publishes no OAuth metadata. The docs list Claude Code (CLI and plugin), Cursor, VS Code, n8n and any client that can send custom HTTP headers as working, and Claude Team or Enterprise organization administrators as a beta option; their client table does not mention ChatGPT. Ayrshare also publishes a Claude Code plugin and a read-only Documentation MCP. Its marketing pages say the server has 27 tools and its docs catalog lists 33. The MCP docs say working with profiles and sub-profiles requires “a Business plan (or Enterprise)”; they do not say whether Launch, which Ayrshare’s docs call the entry-level tier of the Business Plan, qualifies.
Can I white-label Ayrshare in my product?
Mostly. Ayrshare’s Enterprise page says publishing is white-label with one exception, the OAuth consent screen, which it says the social networks require to name Ayrshare, so your customers see Ayrshare’s name when they connect their accounts. Custom branding options are listed on the pricing card from Launch, and Max Pack adds CSS customization of the social account linking page.
Is Ayrshare SOC 2 compliant?
Ayrshare claims it, but we could not verify it. The hero graphic on its Enterprise page carries a “SOC 2 · GDPR · signed DPA” badge, but the page text, the pricing page and the full documentation we read on November 6, 2026 do not mention SOC 2, and nothing we read names a report type, auditor or date. None of them mentions ISO 27001. Ayrshare states GDPR compliance and offers a signed Data Processing Agreement and isolated multi-tenant or single-tenant options on Enterprise, where contracts include a 99.9% API SLA. Its security page says API traffic uses TLS 1.3 and data at rest is encrypted on Google Cloud. If your review needs an audit report, ask Ayrshare for it before you buy.
How does Ayrshare compare with Zernio?
They bill different things. Ayrshare charges per social profile, one customer with any number of networks, from $149 a month on monthly billing ($129 a month billed annually), and its pages disagree on whether a free plan still exists. Zernio charges per connected social account, and its pricing page says the first 2 accounts are free with no credit card, then $6 per account a month for accounts 3 to 10, $3 for 11 to 100 and $1 from 101. One brand on five networks is 1 Ayrshare profile or 5 Zernio accounts; by our arithmetic from Zernio’s stated tiers that is $18 a month on Zernio against $149 on Ayrshare’s monthly billing. Neither figure includes messaging: Ayrshare’s docs charge for DMs, and Zernio’s pricing page meters DMs beyond the first 10,000 sent a month and passes X API calls through at X’s rates. Check that each covers the networks you need before comparing.
