What is Khan Academy?
Khan Academy is a nonprofit learning platform that gives away a full K-12 and early-college curriculum: instructional videos, practice exercises, and skill-by-skill mastery tracking, organized into structured courses. The catalog runs from Math: Pre-K - 8th grade and Math: High school and college through Test prep, English language arts, Science, Social studies, Economics, Computing, and Life skills, alongside Partner courses and curriculum-aligned tracks for Illustrative Mathematics and Eureka Math.

Khanmigo, the AI tutor that withholds the answer
Khanmigo is Khan Academy's AI layer, and its defining constraint is that it refuses to hand over solutions. The learner pages are blunt about the contrast with general chatbots: unlike ChatGPT, Khanmigo never hands over the answer and instead guides the student to find it themselves. Because it is incorporated into Khan Academy's content library, learners get personalized tutoring on any exercise, video, or article on the platform. Who should choose Khan Academy
Choose Khan Academy if you are a K-12 teacher, a homeschooling parent, a student filling gaps before a test, or an adult relearning math and computing fundamentals.
