We verify

List prices and plan names as written, whether a lasting free plan exists, the billing unit where the vendor states it, third-party scores with 10+ reviews, and the page and date we read them.

We do not verify

Negotiated discounts, regional prices and taxes, anything behind a sales call, how well features work (we read documentation; we do not test), uptime, support or security. Opinions on those live in Tier 2.

How these numbers are read and dated

  1. We open SearchAtlas's own pricing page, searchatlas.com/pricing, and record prices, plan names and the free plan as written, with the date.
  2. A vendor's correction or a reader's report changes nothing until an editor has checked it.
  3. Scores and rankings are editorial: vendors cannot buy them or correct them.
  4. After 30 days without a new reading, this page stops calling the facts verified (the page is rebuilt daily).

Editor's verdict

updated

“SearchAtlas is one of the more ambitious AI SEO platforms because it closes the loop from recommendation to deployment via OTTO, and it bundles an unusually broad toolkit into transparent tiers starting at $99/mo. That breadth and automation are the draw for agencies and execution-focused teams. The trade-offs are real, though: persistent complaints about dashboard speed and plugin reliability, a keyword database well behind Ahrefs and Semrush, and automation that can do damage as fast as it does good if left unchecked. Treat OTTO as an accelerator you supervise, not autopilot. Good value if you'll use the whole suite; overkill if you only need a content optimizer.”

Best for

  • Agencies wanting white-label reporting and automated on-page fixes across many client sites
  • In-house teams that want to execute SEO changes, not just get recommendations
  • Solo marketers who want an all-in-one suite (audit, keywords, rank tracking, content) under one plan

Watch out for

  • Recurring complaints about slow dashboard load times and buggy WordPress plugin behavior (broken sitemaps, de-indexed pages reported)
  • Automated bulk changes are risky on established sites if approved without careful review

What is SearchAtlas?

SearchAtlas, which brands itself as Search Atlas on its own site, is an AI SEO suite that folds technical auditing, content production, link acquisition, local search, and paid media into one subscription. The homepage frames it as a growth engine that runs your marketing while you sleep, covering SEO, AEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, content, and site health from a single login.

What separates SearchAtlas from a conventional research toolkit is the execution layer. Most SEO platforms surface a list of problems and leave implementation to whoever owns the CMS. SearchAtlas ships OTTO SEO, an agent that pushes changes to the live site through a script called the OTTO Pixel, a Cloudflare DNS connection, or native connectors for WordPress, HubSpot, Webflow, Shopify, Contentful, Duda, GitHub, Vercel, and Netlify.

Inside the OTTO SEO engine

SearchAtlas OTTO SEO product page showing the automated deployment agent

The vendor describes OTTO SEO as an AI agent that executes full search strategies and deploys optimizations in real time, continuously analysing your website, knowledge graph, and top competitors while drawing live data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Business Profile. Its work splits into recognisable tracks: fixing technical SEO and indexing, optimising on-page elements, creating content, and automating off-page and local activity. Supporting modules include a Dynamic Indexing Engine, WILDFIRE for automated link exchange, and OTTO Grade for tracking what has actually shipped. OTTO Deep Freeze keeps deployed optimizations in place after a cancellation, which is a fair answer to the usual worry about renting your own on-page markup.

Content production and technical tooling

Around the agent sits a full research and production stack. Topical Maps creates and interlinks semantically related content, Content Genius V3 is pitched as content that writes and optimises itself, Content Briefs generate keyword-level outlines with focus terms, word count, competitors, and a headings outline, Content Planner clusters keywords into content plans, and Content Rewriter reworks existing passages with AI. On the technical side, Site Auditor audits up to a million web pages for issues that may be hurting rankings, Site Visualization and Site Structure Analysis map the internal linking profile and page hierarchy, Page Pruning identifies low-performing content that may benefit from pruning, and Schema Creator generates JSON-LD for 30+ schema markup types. Live Alert Monitoring sends live alerts for high-priority technical issues before they impact keyword rankings or traffic.

Local search and AI answer visibility

SearchAtlas LLM Visibility page tracking brand mentions across AI search engines

Agencies serving multi-location clients get GBP Galactic for Google Business Profile automation, Local Citations for listings, a Local Heatmap Tracker for geographic ranking spread, Location Spoofing for checking results from another market, and Local Organic Rank Tracking. The newer draw is LLM Visibility, which the vendor calls the first enterprise-ready platform to measure brand mentions, sentiment, share of voice, and ranking inside AI answers. It monitors ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, SearchGPT, Grok, and Copilot, with competitor benchmarking and historical trends alongside raw mention counts. For teams watching organic clicks erode into AI summaries, that reporting is increasingly the point.

Plans, seats, and agency scale

Tier names map cleanly to team size. Starter targets solo marketers, freelancers, and one-person agency teams with a single OTTO SEO project. Growth is built for scaling agencies and mid-sized businesses managing multiple sites or clients, Pro is made for high-volume agencies and is where white label switches on with a branded dashboard and client portal, and Agency is everything in Pro plus the largest quotas for projects, seats, credits, content pages, and AI articles, with white-labeled reporting and client dashboards. Portfolio Summary rolls client health into one score and Report Builder handles the deliverables. Custom Enterprise plans are quoted directly, and the vendor includes onboarding on every tier alongside a seven-day trial.

Who should choose SearchAtlas

SearchAtlas fits agencies and in-house teams that already know what needs fixing and are tired of the gap between an audit and its deployment. If you manage several sites, bill for measurable output, and want local SEO, content, links, and AI answer tracking under one roof, the consolidation argument is strong, and the white-label layer on the Pro and Agency tiers makes reselling straightforward. It is a poor fit for developer-led teams with strict change control, since much of the value comes from letting an agent write to production. Trial OTTO SEO on a low-stakes property first.

Strengths

  • OTTO actually deploys fixes (meta tags, internal links, schema, on-page) rather than only flagging them
  • Genuinely broad toolkit for the price: audits, keyword research, Site Explorer, rank tracking, content editor, GBP and LLM-visibility tracking in one place
  • White-label reports and client portal on Pro/Agency make it viable as an agency's front-end
  • Transparent published tiers with a 7-day free trial and ~20% annual discount

Watch out for

  • Recurring complaints about slow dashboard load times and buggy WordPress plugin behavior (broken sitemaps, de-indexed pages reported)
  • Automated bulk changes are risky on established sites if approved without careful review
  • Keyword database (~5.2B) is materially smaller than Ahrefs/Semrush, weakening its data depth
  • AI-generated content and recommendations still need human editing; steep learning curve for SEO novices

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free trial or free plan?

There is a 7-day free trial on all tiers, but no permanent free plan. Paid plans start at $99/mo, with roughly a 20% discount on annual billing.

Does OTTO change my site automatically?

OTTO can push on-page fixes live through a WordPress plugin or JS snippet, but changes route through an approval queue. Review before mass-approving, especially on established sites where automated edits have caused ranking issues for some users.
